Farming is the way for us to make money and can also be a way to get items that we need. This can also help if you just wanna farm cards. There is different types of farming. Specific items, Cards or just random items to make some money. Starting of can be a struggle and may even turn people of from farming. I will try to give you some advice that could help you with farming. GENERAL ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Character. This is one of the more important one. If you do not have a character that is build to farm, then it will become a real struggle and an of turner. The best character to use is those that can attack multiple enemies at the same time, having a strong and a fast character will work too. Level, the best is obviously to be in a high lvl when you decide to farm. This will help you kill faster and grant you acces to more areas to farm. 2. Solo or duo ? Now i have seen some people ask for partners to farm cards with, Farming with one or more partner(s) will speed up the killing progress and can increase the farming grounds. The downside is that you are now sharing the loot. I would recommend going solo, and find a partner when you are going to a higher leveled area. 3. Pet. Short and simple, having a pet with loot on will speed everything up. 4. When to farm ? What i mean by this is the real life time. I found it to be easier during the evening or late hours. You will be more relaxed because you have less energy in your body. You can do this at anytime you want of course. Late hours does have more of an advantage. As i said you will be more relaxed but there will also be less people online, so you won't feel like you have to join som pqs or bosses. 5. Music. Having some nice and relaxing music on in the background will again help you too feel more relaxed. I harp on with the relaxed thing, but this will help alot with farming, you won't feel like you are wasting time and stop prematurely. 6. Loot. If you are not farming for anything specific and just wanna make money, then loot everything. You can throw out cheap stuff and pick up the more expensive ones (if you know the prices) and then go and sell it all. I made around 500mil from just selling junk as i was farming cards. Don't think that something isn't worth it just because it is a little low, it will all add up. This point is more for those who just wanna farm some money, and not anything specific. SPECIFIC FARMING ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Not much more to say here, i guess the only difference between normal farming and specific farming, is that you only pick up the item(s) that you are farming for. Now you can still pick up other items as long as they go into the other tabs that your desired items goes to. 1. Be high lvl. Farming specific items will be alot easier and faster if you do so at a higher lvl. You will be able to kill them faster and more at the same time. You will also have more options as to where to farm. 2. Pick the area/mobs that suits your class the best. Don't pick a map that is full of mobs with no platforms if you are an archer, punching them to death will take awhile. 3. Patience. When you farm for something specific it usually will take you longer than if you were to just farm. Be ready to spend alot of time in one spot. 4. Solo or duo ? This completely depends on the item(s) that you are farming. If it is something rare, then the process could be slower, due to you sharing the loot. If it is a common item, then i see no problems in bringing a/some friend(s) with you. CARD FARMING ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Admittedly this is a specific farming, but the difference here is that you can collect other items at the same time and make some money at the same time. 1. First of all, do you need this medal ? You should ask yourself this before you start this daunting task. getting 250 card sets will not be easy nor fast, so get ready to spend alot of time dedicated to just farming. 2. Level. I would highly recommend that you start cards hunting at a higher level, around 70-100 depending on your class and build. This isn't too say that you can't pick up any cards before hand, what i am saying is that being at that level will allow you do collect so many more cards and faster. 3. Complete areas. Pretty self explanatory. At lvl 70-100, you could easily do the entirety of Victoria island. Instead of moving throughout the continents al willy nilly, just complete the entire zone (if possible) Bosses could be an exception due to the long respawn timer. 4. Move on. If it takes to long to get cards from an enemy due either to there not being alot of them or beacuse of their health, just move on to the next and come back to them later. Better to continue than to be stuck in one area for a really long time. 5. Take breaks. You can and should take breaks from farming cards every now and again as to not burn yourself out.
