How your Keyboard is set!

Says the person with magic claw on 7 lol. How do you even comfortably reach that?

Also, to those thinking my keyboard settings are messy... It's just the chairs.

 

I will forever use this setup on my NL. Always have.

 

So this is how a pro NL plays.

 

Buffs on XZAQW Attacking skills on FDERTGC
Relaxer is my fav chair.

 

I feel like we're the only ones who use Ctrl as our main attack skill, Ali!

I've played since the beginning of Beta (and KMS before that) and don't remember this.

Then again, I've been a CTRL jumper and SPACE attacker from the very beginning.

 

I'm told my set up is weird.

 

How do you people even use the standard CTRL. ALT, Z bindings? It was fine for me 7 years ago but now it just seems really squished together. While I can't show how my binding will really become, I can at least show what they're like at the moment:

i've had to change my hot key set up over ten times while playing maple.

 

A couple of things always stay constant when I make a char:

• Flash jump on A (super easy for me to use with arrow keys)
• Favorite 3 chairs on T>Y>O (From fave to 3rd fave)
• Guild on L (no clue why)
• Health/MP pots on 4 and 5
• Haste on N (I tend to keep my main skills close to the space bar (attacking skill)
• Whisper on `
• I also don't use any commands that weren't in beta maplestory (besides 3rd job skills and guild/guildchat, of course)

Can't tell if mines significantly weirder than everyone else's layouts

 

Consistencies:

• Stats on L
• Jump on CTRL
• Main single-target attack on Shift
• Main AOE on Alt, alternate AOE on S
• Main movement skill on A (FJ or Tele)
• Pots on the cluster above the arrow keys

I've been able to grind over 48 straight hours on this layout.

 

Concerning my own keyboard lay-out... There's consistency in there!

• Main attack: Ctrl
• Movement skill (FJ or Tele) or 2nd main attack: Shift
• X and V: MP/HP pots
• D and A: Other attacks
• Insert, Delete, Home, End: Buffs
• Page Down/Up: Potions (e.g. Pet Food)
• Mount is always on '
• Space: NPC Chat
• C is basic attack; F is All-Cures and B and N are unneeded attacking skills.
• L is always Messenger.
• 5 - 0, - and = are always effects and chairs (as well as U, O and J when needed)
