Do you know if the below would work out, if I started equipping INT gear at Level 30 to get 60 INT? Or would I need to invest a bit more in base int early on? I am not sure which level this calculator assumes for INT gear. It could be 50, I feel like I've seen that somewhere. Anyway, it seems you would need another 10 INT to reach your goal in Lv.135 (note, 135 not 130. Is there a reason why you want to reach it at 130?) However, please consider the option to aim for a lower HP goal. Updates to Royals is coming and it's possible that you'll not have to HP wash all the way to 18750 (14750 might be enough). Also (and this is important in my opinion) 30K HP is not really needed for anything you can do in Lv.130. Personally (and I'm a DK) I've only felt the need for 30K HP when I have been killing Bodyguard A and Anego. I haven't done Toad yet but I'm pretty sure I'd want my 30K HP there too (that's for LV.175+ though). Besides Anego, these are bosses for way later game than Lv.130 (and even Anego is not really good compared to Bigfoot for a DK)

These are the HP goals that Shiyui recommends. I trust that they are 100% correct, hehe. Now I played around with this calculator, and if you want to do Castellan Toad in Lv.175, you will be able to do so, even without INT. If you want to be able to reach 30K HP by level 200 (which maybe is fun if you want a "perfect" Hero) then you'd need to use some INT while leveling up from now on. Reaching 70 INT will be enough (66 from equips assuming your base INT is 4) Now, to me it feels like you're set for almost anything. Bigfoot in Lv.120 shouldn't be a problem. Heroes are really easy to wash so there's no need to bother about INT. Here's a Lv.175 goal sample Here's a Lv.200 goal sample
i am still confuse with this hp washing method,can i know specifically what i suppose to do? what ap stats i should add when i lvl up? how many total INT i need? Kindly please explain cause i am still newbie with this HP washing.
STR, STR, STR, STR and then STR. After that, STR and finally STR. STR all the way. Touching any of the other stats would be nothing but a failure (some Heroes need DEX for Stonetooth Sword though, but that's a different topic) This depends on what your HP goal is. I would say you need 0 INT. It's true in a way because Heroes won't die from bosses (they are heroes, after all). This is especially true if you have HB. However, my (personal) advice for you would be: get some INT equips. They will allow you to wash more HP in the future if you feel the desire. Also, they have great re-sell value so you could think of it as a loan or even a profit. INT equips is its own topic but I suggest you get Overall, Cape, Weapon (wand or sword - I prefer sword), and earring. The possibilities are endless but those are good to start with. Here I'm also assuming you're using a Zakum Helmet which also is a great INT equipment. What is your total INT right now? If you get it up to 70, you are able to reach 30K HP (without HB) As for the actual method to gain HP this is an old exploit that we've always had in Maple (NEXON allowed the abuse of this bug, for self-explanatory reason) You simply remove from MP and add to HP. You see, HP and MP shares the same "pool" so they're basically equal. So, you do this : Add one AP into HP Buy AP Resets and use them to remove from MP and add to HP Repeat step 2 until you are happy (or until its not possible anymore because you reached minimum MP) Once you're done with all the washing use, one final AP Reset to remove from MP and add to STR (not possible if you reached minimum MP, which is why you should use the calculator in this guide to make sure you have some MP left. Or simply level up to get more MP again) I hope that helped!

You can start washing as late or early as you want. However, I suggest you do all the washing in "one session" so to speak. You don't want to keep that one AP in HP for long, as it will make you slightly weaker. My advice is: wash as late as possible, when you feel the need for it. (if you can survive the boss you want to kill with your current HP, then why wash?) That image is not showing for me
Hey thanks for the reply on this. Yeah I'm not really sure what the calculator assumes is the starting level for INT gear. I had thought it was 1 but that wouldn't make much sense. Was your INT calculation based on the starting level 50 for INT gear? I'll probably wait for the update to see how HP washing is handled but it's interesting to see how much work is needed to create an end-game attacker right now.
My calculation (which is not really my calculation) is based on the calculator in this thread. I can't say for sure how it works. 50 would make sense because that's when you start using Zakum Helmet - a major INT source. Unless you are very serious about reaching a high goal at an early level, I'd suggest you to keep leveling your DK. Use the INT gear you can get your hands on. Rest assured, you will find it easy to wash your DK. My DK is my first character here and without too much trouble, it's now at 30K HP (with HB, of course). Enjoy the 1st, 2nd and 3rd jobs and if you didn't hurry those levels but took the time to gather some INT gear, you'll notice that you have plenty of potential to wash out MP and reach high HP.
i thought of getting total of 66 INT with eqps and 4 base INT = 70 INT total so when i have 70 INT as i level up,do my MP increase? Then i could wash my MP to HP anytime right? could u help me calculate the minimum MP to make sure you have some MP left for my ap when i lvl up,i just remain adding 5 STR to ap? is it ok?
Yes then you will receive an extra 7 MP upon each level-up. Yes you keep adding STR I will find the formula for min MP for you soon

Looks great! You don't need to keep those APs, you can put them into STR. If you will just leech, it doesn't though.
