Correct, except warriors use the second method of HP Washing, in this guide. You don't put any LevelUpAP into HP. You simply use a reset to move MP into HP. But you have to use 1 reset, initially, to put one extra point into the HP/MP pool, so that you can edit HP and MP. This is why it makes the most sense to wait until you're a much higher level, and have a lot more washes to do, before you start washing, since you have to use an extra AP reset before, and after, the process. If this doesn't make sense, read the guide.

You can do the first method, as a Warrior, but you just get .5 less HP per reset. And the first method requires LevelUps, which sucks, so I don't know why you would use the first method.

idk how u got 399MP. According the the code, you should average at 229, and not surpass like 275. and with your 38 MP you built, it seems off. I guess I have to look into that. Also, don't trust the Minimum MaxMP Formulas. I just got them from Pheelo's guide, and idk where he got them. The thief one checks out, from experience, but the spearman/page one would be ridiculous considering warriors don't get any MP from job advancements (according to the code). But seeing as that you have 400MP, perhaps the code is off. I'm going to have to do some investigation.

you are right, i will use the second method as i can gain 50-55 instead of 50-54.

but to know for sure when to start the "massive" HP-washing, we need to have an accurate formula that tells us the minimum.
right now the formula says i have 103MP to use! thats 25 times already that i can wash! of course its good, but we need to know for sure! :D

i did levelup, im now 36. my MP is 408. an increase of +9MP, this having 30INT when i leveled up. following the formula i have gained 5MP?
now at level37, my MP is 416. this time an increase of +8MP.
now level41, my MP is 449. thats +33MP in 4 levels, an average of 8,25MP each level.

Does this still apply in the game now? So does this mean that I don't have to wear int eqs for horntail?

Where did you get this formula for MP?

    MPGainFromJobAdv*(#JobAdv-1) + MPGain*Level - MPGain*10 + 104

What does MPGain*10 and 104 mean? Just curious

You'll be able to wash all the MP you acquire through INT. There will also be extra MP you get naturally, but the code and Minimum MaxMP Formulas from Pheelo's guide don't support this. Regardless, I expect Pheelo's Formula to be wrong and for you to be able to wash everything you accumulate. I'd love to hear of what your Minimum MaxMP is when you wash.

Since we've gotten the code, my information on Spearmen has changed. That post is inaccurate. Check the guide out. I'm still unsure about what the Minimum MP for Spearmen is, tho.

MPGain*10 is ten levels of your classes MPGain you never get, since you don't get that Class Specific MP Gain til you advance to 11. 104 is the amount of MP you have at lvl 10 before your job advance.

ok. im lvl 50 and i have 525 MP, that means:
    36: 408
    37: 416
    41: 449
    50: 525

thats an average of 8.35MP every level with (30 INT) equips.
at 50 i have zakum+silver deputy so i will be at 40 INT.

    51: 534
    52: 542

can you check if my math is right if my target is 12,000 HP on a brawler a lv.130

    Natural HP Brawler: Lv.130
    Your formula: [{(#JobAdv-1)*325 + Level*55} - 211.5]
    Plugging in 4 for job adv, 130 for Lv [{(4th-1)*325 + (130)*55} - 211.5]
    [7913,5 HP @ Lv. 130, 4th job Brawler]

    Target HP : 12,000 HP
    Natural HP: 7913 HP
    Needed HP: 4087 HP
1 AP reset: +40 HP per -16 MP
    cross multiply: (4087 HP/ 40 HP) X 16 MP = 1635 MP
    1 MP = 10 INT,
    1635*10 = ~16,350 INT req. from Lv.1 - 130 Or 126-> 130 INT/lv up

    Looks correct.

Also, here's the formula for Natural Washable MP for Pirates:

    175*(#JobAdv-1) + 2.5*Level - 212

Which would mean that at level 130, you would have 638 MP above your Minimum MaxMP, naturally. So you should really only have to accumulate about 1000 MP with INT.
This is assuming the Minimum MaxMP Formulas in Pheelo's guide are correct.

    @Gossamer
I'd like to start by saying thanks for this guide its been years since I played Maple before finding Royals, so I had no idea what the heck HP Washing was. I'm sure it took a decent amount of time to put this all together and stuff, so thanks for that.

I also have a few questions.
Right now I'm playing a cleric/bishop to get some funding.
Later on down the road I plan to make a DK, so that's what my questions are about.I just want to make sure I understand it right.
So if I go by the chart for Spearman, sometime between the levels 1-47 I need to have 30 INT, and the sooner the better, right?
And as well, between the levels of 48-74 I need 40 INT, again the sooner its added, the better. And then so on and so forth as I level, just follow the chart so I make sure I have the required amount of INT by that level?
    Am I understanding that correctly?
Thanks in advance for any input or help :)

    How To Use The Table:

The table lists that if you are between the levels of 3 and 53, you only need to have 30 INT. But if you were to start adding INT at level 54, you would need 40 INT. The earlier you start wearing INT, the better. The amount of INT listed on the table is the amount of INT you need, forever. You do not need to increase the amount of INT you have as you become a higher level. The lower levels only require less INT because, if you equip INT at an earlier level, you are taking advantage of more level ups, so you need less INT for the rest of your Maple career.
