Hi @Gossamer, I'm new to washing, and your guide has been extremely helpful as I gained better understanding of washing. However, would you mind looking at what I have noted along the way while I was reading your guide, to see if what I noted is correct? I will be washing on a Thief character. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let's assume I have an average INT of all recommended items for HP washing, and I have a bishop to leech myself. So resetting INT into LUK early in the stage isn't a concern. So.... Lv1 - Lv 5 : 24 Dex Lv6: 25 DEX, 4(base INT) + 4 remaining AP into INT = 8 INT Lv7 - Lv33 : 140 INT + 4(base LUK) + 3 remaining AP into LUK = 7 LUK Lv34 - Lv80: All LevelUpAP into LUK = 242 LUK --MP WASH HERE-- Lv81 - Lv90: 50 LevelUpAP and 50 AP Reset for MP Washing, during this 10 level, my total LUK will increase to 287 since + MP, AP Reset - 1 MP, + 1 LUK every for every wash, for 50 times. ---------------- Lv91 - Lv100: Save up on LevelUpAP (50 APs). Begin HP washing by using 50 AP. + HP, AP reset - 1 MP, + 1 LUK for every wash. Once 50 APs used up, proceed to level normally and wash along the way till hit 9000 HP. By Lv155, should have achieved goal, use 136 AP to pull out all INT back into LUK. Edit: One more question. What is the recommended average total INT to have from gears since it affects LevelUp MP gain, I supposed? :/
Glad to help :3 Not completely sure why you want to save up 50 LevelUpAP, but I suppose it makes no difference since you're leeching. There is no Cap for INT Equips. Since they're just a rental, they're the best way to get MP, but you can only really get so much on a budget. INT Equips do not affect your OptimalRawINT value. Seems odd, I know. But that value becomes a constant in the derivative. And if you test it out yourself, you will see that no matter how much you'll be gaining from your INT Equips, you'll still get the same result as the most efficient Raw NT to have. Still doesn't make 100% sense to me, so I'll have to revisit that formula when I write my Complete HP Washing guide.
Ah I see. So the note along "Lv91 - Lv100 Save up on LevelUpAP (50 APs).", I could actually just start HP washing the moment I level-ed to 91 onwards? And yes, I'll be heavily leeching myself. Other than that part, does the overall note that I've taken sound correct? :x @Gossamer
Correct. You can HP Wash whenever you want, as long as you're not below your Minimum MP value. Everything else checks out, unless I missed anything :3
Ah i see! Thanks so much! So i suppose for HP washing, i can only do so as long as i have unused LevelUpAP, right? Since for every wash would be + 1 level AP into HP > Ap reset - MP > add LUK > repeat for as long as there are unused LevelUpAP and not below minMP.
Hi again @Gossamer ! Just wanna check with you, does the formula for min maxMP work only after a certain level or something? Cos I calculated my current min maxMP for fun, and I'm level 16. By calculation its 372 (14*16 + 148), but the amount is like 100+ more MP than what my thief currently has (think it's only 230). LOL!
you might want to mention that you need 1 AP point in HP in order to be able to take points out of MP (in the MP washing section). it's not mentioned in your guide and i see a lot of people making character issues because they arent able to take points out of MP because they forget that step
If Pink bean was to ever come out, would this guide compensate for it as well? how much hp do you need to tank that thing?
Around 19k magic. So if pink bean were to come out, best is to wash as much as possible to hit 30k on HB.
not only that you need minimum 19k HP, but Dks will never be able to use berserk no matter how much they wash. also, the hp-washing is something "extra" and should not be a requirement to play maple. but a lot of classes need to hp-wash to even be able to partecipate in HT-runs. damn Nexon.
