im starting a wizard thats gonna cap at level 70 would like to know whether i should use the elemntal wand(which is slow) or the lvl 64 staff which is faster but has less magic on it? while the main purpose of this move is to be able to kill as many of the strongest monsters in cpq2, does faster weapon compensate for less magic?
Use the elemental wand for sure, since the element boost is significant. The weapon attack speed you see on the weapon should be ignored. The only spell that is affected by weapon attack speed is explosion (f/p skill). A slow wand and a fast wand will cast thunderbolt at the same speed.
