If a new world was added...what would YOU do? (Poll)

I'd definitely come back if a new world were to be implemented, considering a few changes were made considering white scrolls and meso sinks.

 

I'd love a new server where players from Asia and oceanic regions could play with no lag.

 

Back in gms most peope would take a break away from the grind and bossing and j chill in henesys with friends. Some say maples best purpose is to j hoe around henesys. So adding a new world subtracts from ppl seen in henesys. But since this server is packed in all training spots and dead in the chill spots a new world will not b bad at all

Although I feel like this might good for some people, I doubt this would ever work in the long run. After a month or 2 half of the people who originally joined this new world would either quit or go back to the main world. Why? Because it will just end up the same as the main world, just less people. Unless the player base suddenly increases by 50-100% I doubt this would work.

It's still an mmo and even with increased rates, an active (and decent in size) playerbase is necessary.


As an e.g. I'll use Demethos in EMS.
I only really got hooked on maplestory when it was released, I used to play quite a lot before but no where as much.
First couple of months, year even was amazing. Lots of players, new challenges, events etc... The hype was real.
Fast forward 1,5-2 years after initial release of EMS Demethos. We were growing considerably smaller, less shops, ... A small community is fine, dont get me wrong. But you'll have to consider that at that time EMS was a lot bigger than Royals is.
Now last time I logged onto Demethos, not even fm1 ch1 was full.
It's very demotivating to see this, and considering a small(er) playerbase initially I think this process in Royals would be more like a matter of months instead of a couple of years.


Small note: I actually would play the new world if it was to be released. Although I doubt I'd get too invested in it.
I have no reason to say that I don't want a new world, I am fully supportive even. But I just think it (sadly) wouldn't work out the way you'd want it too. I don't want to demotivate anyone who is really interested in this, MR is community based and if enough players were to get behind this, I'm sure they would consider this. I'm just raising my current concerns with how this would work out.
