well everyone knew but it took months for Tiger to get banned if he got banned for acc sharing (what he certainly did) Once when i restarted my char on the Bera server i also made a extra account to fuck with the top brass players in scania( i was one of them myself)
The first year almost anything was "allowed" since there were more bugs and glitches than hackers and acc sharers roughly 50% of the community hacked or shared accounts. After that year more GM's got hired and started banning bigtime hackers and botters, it did took a whole wile till acc sharing started getting banned. Every month a ban wave, after 2 or 3 months you could actually notice it with the density on the maps. Hell i even remember Orbis comming to the game including aqua and elnath with zakum. 25-30 pple joined on zruns and they got planned like a full week ahead and there would always be a GM on runs checking for hackers. This ended when zakum started going down easyer instead of the 3-4 hours we needed on the first few runs were we failed bigtime.
After 8ish years on Global i quitted not that long after BB. I was in one of the first succesfull cyngus boss runs just before i put down my sword and claw. So yea im not sure about the post BB ban waves but the pre BB ban waves came every month, usually followed by a patchnote with all banned names in it. (man those lists were loooonngggg)
Omg those videos ... Also dray's ... does knowing him in person and being in his videos (I don't know how many to be exact and which ones ...) account for anything ? I miss those days so much
I was in his guild, partied with him a lot, then I outleveled when he stopped leveling so much, I was his maple trophy wife for a brief period, have had his Skype as well but we haven't talked in absolutely AGES ! I spent most of my time with him as well as some other people like Susan. Some of us were really close friends that talked and still talk in real life kept in touch with each other even after maple, even went to Susan's wedding 2 years ago my ign was S3xyKate
He is still continuing with the Maple Kombat series which is really cool, he even made a Patreon page for support. Don't think the actual episode will be finished for quite a while, even though it has been years since the last one! Rumours were his account got deleted by one of the account owners ex-girlfriends who logged into the account and deleted the character (which got replaced by a noob Swordsman). Anyone remember Laid on Bera as well? Was the top levelled character on Bera at one point but then got banned for trying to sell his account I believe.
This is the only old MapleStory video that I rememeber (though it's an animation) My sister and I used to watch this all the time!
