Hi there, i am karlo a lvl 130 shad, i have trained like the "hard" way, killing mobs near my lvl. I want to learn about bombing bosses and that's why i am here, i want to know how many mesos i need to kill papulatus clock using ME, and what bosses are good to learn a fast bombing kill
Zakum is good practice, Bigfoot is challenging in its own way. Those are the bosses you'll do most, so kill those to practice your dropping and bossing skill. As for Papulatus, he's quite annoying to kill (only half of your attacks will actually hit due to iFrames), but there's an easy way. Get him to the left wall with Bstep, then drop mesos all the way to the wall and blow them up. Be aware that Pap uses dispels, 1/1s and magic attacks, so keep your autopot up! You'll need around 7-8m, 5-6m if you're good/lucky at timing your attacks.
Is assassinate still glitched when used on bosses? I've seen conflicting reports, and I'm wondering if I should max that third, as opposed to doing so after smokescreen and/or MW.
From experience, I have never been dc/d when using nate at zak or krex but it seems to dc/d at pap although I've heard recent reports of dc/s at krex. Personally I put one SP in smoke, which is sufficient if used correctly, max MW10 and then maxed nate. However if you're able to get MW20 I would max this first. (Unless if you're regularly training with someone who has MW20 which is unlikely)
It won't have an impact on the order in which you max your skills, but no, it's no longer glitched. I fixed that in the guide a while back o-o
I there anyway for me to use Assassinate + Bstep macro while dropping mesos without charging into the boss? I know the Bstep + SB x2 combo can be used but it's lower dps and I really want to utilize Assassinate to its potential. Thanks.
sucks my keyboard can't spam the mouseclick thingy, basically ive done lot of research online seems i can only click to drop zzz (so tiring) is there any other legal methods to drop besides mouse key? ;o
There might be a mistake in this SP build. Level 70: +1 Meso Explosion [1] Level 71: + 3 Chakra [3] Level 72: +1 Meso Guard [1], +2 Meso Explosion [2] ME should be 3 at lvl 72
I noticed that Assassinate isn't affected by Sharp Eye's crit rate buff. None of the first 3 hits seem to crit with SE except for the last one which is intended. Is this a bug?

I'm a recently activated Shadower! And I was wondering if it's possible for me to be useful at bosses like zak, pap, krex without using tons of mesos for ME... And if so, what skills should I be focusing on? BStep, Assassinate? and how I would go about doing that. I'm deciding between continuing my Shad or go start a more "boss" friendly character. I'm not a huge "bosser" kind of person but I want to be at least semi useful when I go on runs with friends or with my guild. Thanks!! =)
@mystercool You can do whatever you wish to do. From personal experience, all my non-shadower associates call me a useless class when we go on boss runs, even though I do hella damage & am blowing up my mesos for them. They're just haters though.
There is a point at which Bstep+Assassinate will outdamage ME, but you'll have to be funded to ever reach that point. Really funded. I myself barely reached it with 3 perfect items and level 16x. It also depends on how fast you drop mesos, though. @carcrash your bossing friends are mental, Shadowers are, next to the Corsair+NL masterrace, one of the strongest bossing classes. I've whited loads of strong Heroes/NLs, but any Shadower shouldn't have a hard time going equal with a decent Hero...
@Marty They call me useless cause I have no party buffs except haste, which they get from dumb NLs anyway (& because I ded too much) & I totes white those scrubs too. @Stan I say associates because my BL & guildies are not my friends. They stinx (don't tell them I said that).
