Hello all! Today I have a great suggestion that will make many lives much easier. As it currently stands, the maximum character limit for chat is 70 characters. This number is a paltry amount for how social of a game this is. Even Twitter has a 140 character limit. Below is a picture of what 70 characters looks like in the chat bar. As you all see, there is still PLENTY of space for more characters to be added before the letters reach the end of the bar. My suggestion is to increase this limit to 100 characters. I'm sure you all have been typing to a friend about something and find that when you're ready to hit send, only part of your message got typed out. I'm sure everyone's lives would be greatly improved and communication between people would be much smoother if we could increase the character limit for typing in chat. I just threw the number 100 out there as a nice even number to end on, but any increase would be a vast improvement to the incredibly social game that is MapleRoyals! I hope that its not something thats limited by the client, cause if it will be implemented i'd be suuuper happy
I would like the limit to be more than 100 ('Let's say, about two lines) but 100 would be a good start. Keeping it as is wouldn't be a deal breaker but rather a nice addition. I think separate tabs for all, friend, guild, smega, etc. chat from the BB client onwards would be a great addition but I think it might be limited by the client or too much effort?
