That's not how drops work. You have the exact same chance of it dropping an umbrella regardless of how many other items the mob can drop. Just because it dropped a different item doesn't mean you have missed a chance of it dropping an umbrella.

The maple umbrella is clearly the best weapon on maple island and I understand it is very unfair for the players who were able to participate in the first anniversary event vs the people who weren't because it was probably the easiest item to get on maple island then. But its very clear that at this point, all of this just makes our community look bad. It is far easier at this time for the staff to just not include islanders in these type of events than it is to accommodate them.
To the GMs, thanks for the clarification on the drop rate. And many thanks for including the islander community into the anniversary. Am really grateful for the extra work done to allow everyone in mapleroyals, in some way, be able to participate in the joyous celebration for the 3rd anniversary To my fellow islanders, I understand how the current event is not to our advantage. It seems that the event is not islander friendly, but at least we now get to be included in the event. I havent been online this few days, so I cannot comment on the drop rates. But the staff has clearly stated that there was no change or difference, so I guess we should just take it as that. From another perspective, we can always take it as a challenge in hunting for the elusive maple umbrella! After all, isn't that one of the reasons why we chose to stay as an islander?? To challenge ourselves and proving we're better than others by setting certain restrictions And also, those who are lucky enough to own maple umbrellas will also earn their entitlement to bragging rights! >.<
