Exactly why not let every banned guild leader have his or her guild deleted, if you wanna be even more helpfull you can delete the guild as a ~gm refund so a JR can take over. I wouldn't even mind having it a donor option since it takes staff time and it is a service some people want, you could have a time limit untill a guild name gets "public" have a few weeks for any JR to have the chance to take over. This wouldn't be a major service just an extra thing if a guild leader happens to do stuff that is not good it shouldn't effect the rest. Note i don't mean buying the guild name only paying to get that guild deleted. Can changing guild leader be a donor option that would help the community a lot. You can fix all the things nexon never did and you have to use the donor points somehow....
If a Maple Island JR took over they wouldn't be able to manage the guild from Maple Island, other than that I agree.
What would the name be? RogersApple, Southperry, Islanders, SnailHunters, Maplenation, Dwellers etc. iunno
We want Amherst, were hoping the admins will change their mind. Either way someone quite active needs to be leader, Chok is top choice.
I remember gm's chaging leader for legends around a year ago cause our leader got perm banned, but legends unfortunately disbanded later, so i cant see why that rule has changed.
I do not see the "special Privilege" This is not a scenario as we see so often on the Ban Appeal section "My brother's neighbor's dog hacked on my account and I got banned". This is someone, unrelated to all of us, minus the fact that he was the leader of the all godly guild Amherst. I am a new Islander, but I know this guild means a lot to people. But it is hard to expand to new people, when all slots fill up, when there are only 2 Juniors, things of that nature. Royals is a place where we should be able to experience a nostalgic guild, such as Amherst, it means a lot to everyone on the Island, it might not mean much to everyone else, but with what little we have, we like to have fun, and be a wholesome community. I say, disband the guild, (GM delete the guild entirely and start anew, we can collectively Donate for the right to do so, just as we pay for name change, why not pay for guild disbandance, when a leader is inactive to do his duty.)
Shouldnt the guild have already been force disbanded anyways, due to the fact that the leader is banned? If someone gets banned and all of their characters/laederboard stats etc. get deleted.... why would the guild they made not be disbanded as well? If anything it shouldn't be considered special privileges, it should be done because there is no leader....
I disagree with this completely. If the guild leader was banned and the guild name lost, then it seems totally UN-beneficial to give them the ability to recreate the guild. It doesn't benefit their playing anymore than the adding of other guild members which only increases the guild community. I say recreating "Amherst" would recreate the islander experience for a lot of people. As someone who doesn't have an Islander, I completely support this thread. OT: POLL FOR FAIRNESS?
As someone with an Islander character (Aborigine here!), I created this character purely for the fun of having a character on Maple Island with event items, without knowing of the presence of any Islanders (like Chok, Boobs, etc). I was pleasantly surprised that Amherst helped pull me into this substantial and still growing Islander community we have right now and I wasn't even here for long, only since the Halloween event, yet the guild Amherst holds plenty of meaning to me as an Islander. Seeing as how much the name means to me and plenty of other fellow Islanders, I really hope GMs would be able to help us out with this; this also doesn't give us Islanders any unfair advantage compared to any other guild, we're willing to fork out the necessary amount of mesos to re-create this guild as well. Hope this works out
