I'm not super active but I've been playing a bit recently

Since I was a bit more active due to anni I figured I should actually get to lvl 30

 

Lvl 30 is the beginning of the journey my friend! Don't worry about being inactive, its about enjoying the challenge and simplicity whenever you want/can. Have you joined our discord? It's (arguably) the comfiest community in royals as we don't stress about anything except enjoying the island life and its shenanigans.

I sound like an ad for islanding but here's an actual post to prove you can do all sorts of silly stuff and there is no wrong way to play.

Due to being a mentally ill masochist (joke) I crafted a never been done before (AFAIK) build -- the "no-pointer". Main idea being: no points used, no skills, no picking up meso, no questing, no partying, no buying from vendors (*slight exception), no monster cards, EDIT: no potions as well (all healing happens with resting, without a chair ofc, no quests done to get that chair), no pet or NX (for me), only picking up equips that upgrade my grinding skills and stats -- i.e. no hoarding 20x umbrellas just because -- no ETC items except scrolls for upgrading the equips I get. Also no importing items from other chars, basically ironman-like. The only exception is I chose to do the event stuff as it felt not too much of a "cheat" and will probably, in this way of playing, allow myself to use event items as long as its not a party quest or anything.

The idea was to make it super challenging to level and find drops. As some might understand (check the screenshot below) its extremely tedious and hard to deal with mobs even at lvl 20 but many mobs feel like boss battles. Two other peeps have made this experimental build with a bit of a difference for example Shylander wants to stick to the "provables" like stats/quests/skills etc and thats basically the core of it all. Another masochist is Annot (char name Havah).



And now to prove its legitimacy...
