Hello GM, I recently bought a new laptop (ASUS GA605WV), and it does not have a physical Right Ctrl key. Instead, it has a Copilot key mext to the arrow keys, which outputs as Win + Shift + F23 by default. 1. The problem I usually put my main attack skill on Ctrl which allow me to move and attack with one hand pressing arrow key and right Ctrl. However, when I try to use the Copilot key, the game does not recognize it as Right Ctrl. 2. What I have tried I used Microsoft PowerToys to remap the Copilot key to Right Ctrl. This works in Windows system-wide, but inside the game it still does not function as Right Ctrl. (Instead it triggers the skill which I put on Y key.) I also tested with SharpKeys, but it only detects the Copilot key as "Left Shift," so the remap is not effective. 3. Question about AHK legality The only method that seems to work is using AutoHotkey (AHK) to remap Win + Shift + F23 → Right Ctrl. This would be a 1-to-1 key remap only, without any macros, automation, or repeated key presses. I would like to ask: Is it considered legal in MapleRoyals to use AHK for this purpose (just remapping Copilot → Right Ctrl)? Or is there any recommended way from the staff to solve this problem? Thank you very much for your help!
Yes, it's okay to do so as long as it's 1:1 binding Please refer to this for more details: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/clarification-of-third-party-hard-and-software-benefits.136768/
