I have nothing to do with this thread but I'd like to put in my 2 cents
Undercutting important items(like books) for the sole purpose of pissing off other players is very toxic
If I learned something from the auction house on Nostalrius, undercutting big items is pretty bad
It takes away the sale from someone else, which doesn't sound that bad, but when you think about it, you realize how much of an impact that can have on the economy and community

Lets say I come across 35 ws and sell them all at 100m each
If anyone wants to compete with my prices, they have to go lower, thusly changing the average price for ws

Lol. So 1.) I guess there's no point in this whole "free books/points" thread and 2.) I guess no one else with unused points can redeem books anymore. What a waste of time. Why even bother acting so noble with the point runs in the first place? You act so benevolent when you say you sell your books cheap and call others greedy, yet you constantly brag to people about how much money you have.

For the sake of everyone else in the community, I hope you at least be more professional if you keep leading HT runs. If you're not doing point runs anymore then there's no reason for this thread. With the limit of two runs a day, I'd feel bad for anyone who has wasted their time, effort and money.

 

The points system isn't problematic at all unless of course, you were planning to rig it. I highly doubt you've given full splits to all the people you owe, why should we believe anything you say at this point? For the past week you've been gloating about the billions of mesos (29bil, the actual figure you told me) you have and how you could sell books for 1 meso and it wouldn't matter to you, which leads me to believe 2 things:

1) The only way you could have possibly made that much is by stealing books.
2) You lied about how much money you have.

I'm gonna go with the latter and say you don't have that much money. Even if you stole every single book from your runs, it wouldn't amount to the 29bil you told me and I know for a fact that I run ht more than you and my total book net worth isn't even close to your figure and I don't undercut them, so there's no possible way you have 29bil. So why would you lie about it? To make yourself look richer to help get your point across that you can undercut books? I like how you go out of your way to chat invite danman to tell him you're undercutting books like crazy. Was there any merit in what you did there? Maybe you should ask yourself why you said that instead of danman. I'll admit, there's nothing wrong with undercutting books if you want your stuff to be sold fast but that wasn't your intention, you're doing it for the sole purpose of pissing others off. Just shows what kind of character you are.

No, you were ignoring me because we put you on the spot. When you chat invited my friend Lyrium, you didn't expect him to add me into the convo and start interrogating you. I asked if you were stealing books or not and you didn't know what to say. You panicked and let your defensive mechanism hold you silent. Let's touch on that a little more actually, you took time out of your own ht to messenger, not whisper, but the obnoxious maple messenger that covers 1/4 of your screen, to tell my friend that "sean's a scrub, I love the way he talks shit on the forums" yet you say "I don't deal with or associate with ppl that waste my time." Seems to me like you have a crush on me.

@Lyrium yeh, I stopped doing point runs a while ago. Maybe it wasn't super problematic, but I just got tired of it and decided to change to split system.
It's more money.

To address ur post, I know my basic etiquettes quite well, probably better than u. At least I don't trash talk people or attempt to get former friends banned. You're seriously a joke buddy. Unlike u, I don't bad mouth other people. I find solutions.

And on a side note, I've probably gotten more girls than you. Unlike you, I'm not a trash talker.

@injeenious I knew the bishop, Xiel, in the party. I gave him 70m for the miscommunication. If he said that I didn't pay him, then one of u has the wrong info or Xiel is straight up lying. Simple as that. Figure it out.

Of course, I'm big on principle, so the fact that you even said "Some people will do anything for a quick buck" and logged off before you decided to fix the matter, speaks volumes to me. And for someone who took the time to explain everything to me (someone who wasn't even directly involved), and told me they wouldn't receive the payment from the looters, and had people vouch for them makes me more inclined to believe them than you anyway.

I gave him the 70m after the run. I gave him it before I logged out. I don't think what I said matters. As long as the deal is resolved, it's over with. End of discussion.

 

Yeah, never said you didn't give it to him. Said the problem was that it happened at all and the way you handled it until it blew up.

 

Alright so this thread has gotten pretty out of hand. I'm going to close this because I can't honestly see this getting back on track.

If you can somehow manage to salvage this squad, make a new thread and hope that people don't spam the link to this one in it.
