IGN:momchi Time: At random Problem: Right when I log into the character all mobs freeze and after about 10 seconds I disconnect. I swear I have NOTHING wrong with my internet connection. All sites open fine and other MMOs (Elsword if I have to be specific) play perfectly normal. But after I log into my character my whole internet connection stops and I have to restart it. I have been playing for a week now and this has been a problem since day one, but it doesn't happen every single time,just about 30%.
23:45 +8 GMT IGN: Hunterlacia Time: Varies Problem: Seems like my game can desync from between 5 - 30 minutes at random. Sometimes it will catch up with the server and resume, but otherwise it will disconnect me back to the login screen saying "I can't connect to the server". Not sure if this is just a fluke but I seem to get these desyncs more when I pick up a slew of items at once.
Yeah, I guess it was on my side, since it works completely fine on my PC, but not on my laptop. I just thought it was from the game, since it lagged and disconnected only in the game, but not in any other game or site. Guess my Wifi connection is messed up. Guess I have to play it only on my PC then. Sorry for the inconvenience there, kind of a false alarm. XD
Reopening this thread due to recent dc issues possibly relating to our Host/DDoS Provider. As the issue doesn't affect everyone it is quite hard for us to pinpoint the issue. To help us diagnose the issue we will require traceroutes from users experiencing problems accessing the game and/or website. Traceroutes need to be done whilst you are experiencing problems. Traceroutes through a program called MTR are preferred. You can download MTR from http://winmtr.net/ for any operating system. The How-To page on MTR's website explains how to install and use the software. If you do not wish to use MTR you can follow the instructions below to provide us with a simple traceroute. How to do a traceroute in Windows: Open "cmd.exe", type "tracert mapleroyals.co" if you are having issues accessing the game. Or type "tracert royals.ms" if you are having issues accessing the website and press enter. Wait for the traceroute to stop. Then take a screenshot or copy and paste the traceroute into a post in this thread. How to do a traceroute in Mac/Linux: Open "terminal", type "traceroute mapleroyals.co" if you are having issues accessing the game. Thanks, however we really do need traceroutes so that we can provide our host with information and proof about any packet loss issues. There is a short guide on how to get a traceroute in the first post in this thread, and also a few posts up from here. The traceroute needs to be done whilst you are experiencing issues.

Thank you for these trace routes, I have passed them on to our host. The more trace routes the better. MTR is preferred. Please only do it whilst you are experiencing issues though!
