Uhhh... Honestly I lost my track of movies, at least lately, but the last movie I've seen was Interstellar. Yeah pretty damn long ago. But I liked tjat one a lot!
I went to see The Avengers Age of Ultron and the drive-in after seeing it in the theatres the week before. This movie is amazingly entertaining. The action is fairly good, the adult jokes are subtle enough for the adults to get but the kids to forget. Great time. 10/10 would recommend.
I don't have the best taste for movies but I do keep an eye out for new movies coming out and I love watching movies every now and then. I rate my movies with a 1-10 star scale. Anything above 6 being worth watching and anything at or above 8 starts is amazing and rare to find. The latest movies I watched & recommend are: Interstellar 8/10 Mad Max: Fury Road 8/10 Southpaw 8/10 Avengers: Age of Ultron 6/10 Jurassic World 7/10 Kingsman: The Secret Service 7/10 Maze Runner borderline 6/10 Guardians of the Galaxy 8/10 Hobbit: The battle of the five armies 6/10 X-men: Days of the future past 7/10 Big Hero 6 7/10 Hercules 5/10 The Equaliser 7/10 I have forgotten a few ones so I'll add them later. Update: The interview 7/10 Dawn of the planet of the apes 6/10 Dark Shadows 3/10 Dracula Untold 5/10 Whiplash 9/10 Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods 10/10(because I am a db & dbz kid)
V for Vendetta. "Remember, remember, the fifth of November, gunpowder treason and plot. I see no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot." Middle part was a bit all over the place in terms of its pacing, but overall a truly unique film and I'm glad I dedicated the time watching it.
I rarely watch movies. Did watch the three Berserk movies if we can count those. Other wise I think the last thing I saw the Spongebob Squarepants movie lol. Did end up recording Hotel Transylvania but have yet to watch it.
The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. As with the rest of the series, I loved it. I'm so used to watching shorter anime movies that this longer one is a nice change of pace
Spectre, the new Bond movie. It sucked. Spoiler The bad guy's lair had a bunch of oil tankers and shit around it, and Bond shot it ONE TIME and everything exploded. Fuck me it sucked.
At home, it would be The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. It was not as good as the first, but it was still lovely to watch because of all the legendary British actors in it (mainly Dame Judi Dench and Dame Maggie Smith). In a theatre (of some sort), it was a special screening of Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was special because the Toronto Symphony Orchestra played the film score live on stage, during the screening.
Clerks (1994). Wasn't too invested in it, tbh. It sparked my interest because it is one of the few micro/no-budget films to have been successful commercially. There's a lot of dialogue in it.
I watched the Matrix. Wached the Hobbit : An Unexpected Journey before that whilst waiting for my flight in China. Was trying to watch Pixel on the flight but I broke the remote
