Got shortlisted for a 2nd interview for a full-ride scholarship without bonds (other than having to maintain grades, etc), went for it, nailed it, received a call today 10 minutes before boarding the plane that I have been awarded it. Can't describe how delighted and thrilled I was the moment I heard "Anyway, I have very good news for you" on the phone.
Landed a job after lots of rejects, checked out office and was introduced to a dual monitor setup and a beast PC I'll be using for months to come! Lots of spare parts lying around in office as well for me to build my own custom PC. I hope this isn't a dream and if it is, I hope I don't wake up.
So cute. Congrats if I haven't said it last time I saw you I did a really cool thing that will only ever impress people in my industry but I swear it's really bloody good! Also been at a placement in a bloody great agency which I love, and just been extended yesterday so yay (pray they hire me pls).
After so many years of laziness and procrastinating, started to hit the gym since this Monday with an old friend of mine, and today, bumped into another old friend from secondary school whom I considered an awesome buddy and now we plan on hitting the gym together with him training me since he's senior in that gym by 2 years Not much of an accomplishment to you guys probably, but it is a very huge one for me as I have always been someone who just slacks at home, talking online instead of in person. However since a month ago, been trying to improve myself in every area bit by bit, interacting with people personally and living and eating healthily. Got to thank my family, my friends and my boss for making all these possible.
Nicotine free for one week! (Thanks in no small part to moral support from @DzKnight .) Vaping while grinding and studying was so rewarding. Alas.
Just joined the US Coast Guard and am en route to become a rescue swimmer. Just got accepted into guaranteed AST School (rescue swimmer school). I leave December 3rd for basic training and I'm trying to get to 200 before I leave lmao
Finally finished my 3 months probation on my job! Also managed not to miss a day of gym for the past 2 months and finally able to do a proper push up without feeling pain in my shoulders. Got up from 46kg to 53kg too! Next goal is to be finally able to do pull ups again, used to do them a lot until I started to slack off and can't even do one now. and get a girlfriend.. feelsbadman
Been pulling off really high grades recently, hopefully I can keep this up and get into my masters program!! Only a few more semesters til I'm done my undergrad...
I finally got the damn internship I need, which means two things: 1. excuse to buy new scrubs 2. (thx for your incredibly germane meme, @Spooky Business)
