I havent accomplished anything last few days, weeks actually, I'm retarded nervous for uni? Does that count?.. D:
On the contrary, I just found out that my grant was taken away. Being unable to afford college, I dropped out. A situation that's way more common than it should be. Why is this an accomplishment? I decided I'm going to take the last of my transferable classes at a community college next spring and TAG (transfer agreement, basically guarantees admission) to a uni that's much closer to home. It's also right next to my work. For the next year I can work full time and save up so I don't have to take out any loans.
Finally 'organized' my room and cleaned out the closet filled with my sisters shiet so I could use it. I kept putting it to the side all summer. My side of the room: Finally have a closet. I packed all my equipment up last night and took it to school today. (Forgot to take a picture of the other pile) I'll organize everything a little more over the weekend but it feels good to have gotten some things started
Went to college for the first time today and it was amaaazing. *-*. The professors I've met are very laid back and the people I've met are fun. I have work to do already though. Just sharing my experience since so many people seem to be nervous about starting college.
Are you a long distance runner (or any other long duration sports man)/ top athlete? Because if you aren't I wouldn't recommend going bellow 10%. I went below that (8%) when I still ran marathons and was training for triathlons, but in that period I was often sick, because it really lowers your resistance to diseases (something I almost never was before). After a bad knee injury I put on some weight again (until I was at your 14% again) and I was disease free once more. Now I'm training and losing weight again (at 11% atm) and last week I had my first flue in 3 years.
I saw someone drop their brand-new iPhone 6 today, the screen already was broken because of it and I laughed pretty hard (not nice, I know). He turned around (I know the guy in question) and I convinced him to replace his iPhone 6 with a different phone. This feels very good and is a true accomplishment in my eyes. Sorry to all you Apple fans, I like Apple in general but the iPhone 6... No. Just no.
I liberated 7 portals today in the game Ingress on my phone and linked them. Not a real accomplishment, but it sure felt good. x3
