I don't care about maker skills or pq.
What I keen to have is the chilling atmospheric map and grinding maps for lv6x to 8x. I love the BGM and also how the maps look like so much. So in my opinion I will stand in the agree side in adding magatia map.!!!!! Omg I can't wait! !! ~f15~f14

Well, I consider levels 20-30 to be quite hellish lol. Not saying high levels are easier, but yeah, 25-30 ._. So bland

I would absolutely love Magatia - partly for the nostalgia of having spent a lot of time grinding/questing/PQ-ing there in EMS, partly because I just love the look of the place, and partly because it IS a great grinding/questing/PQ-ing place for mid-level characters. If we got the PQ working, I think the rewards for x number of PQs would have to be something other than the Eye of Horus, though, as we already have that in gacha.

We dont have any "reward for x number of pqs" for our other pqs, why would we need to have one here? I've never done the pq though - magatia was released quite a bit after I had already quit maple. Is there not a regular reward at the end of it?

25-30 takes like two hours at wild boars or teddies though.... and that's on a warrior. Even less time on mages or sins or bowmen. Is two hours of a character's lifetime really something that needs to be addressed with a whole new set of maps?

Tbh, I don't know if the "reward for x number of successful PQs" was out in v62 - I quit GMS around v40-something and much later joined EMS, which is when I did Magatia PQ.

Also, if everything was based just on "need" Maple wouldn't have the variety of maps it does.

I guess I'm using "need" as a relative term. Ulu was a much more "needed" update as people are spending hundreds of hours there, vs the two hours it takes to get from 25-30.

I joined at v.12 and quit at v.44 - then played a week out of every few months until v.60 so I still see white scrolls, chaos scrolls, the pirate class, horntail and the maps outside of victoria, orbis & nath & aqua, ludi & omega as "new content" rather than "nostalgic." Hell, the common-ness of 30% scrolls shocked me when I started playing here. I guess that's why I'm resistant to us adding new things. I feel like a v62 server should be a v62 server for the most part, and if I wanted all these new maps I would go play a v83 server or something even newer.

Sounds like we joined and quit GMS at similar points!

For people who were playing around the time of v62, though, Magatia was the next patch along, so I think it's fair to class it under "nostalgia".

Magatia offers FAR more than just level 20-30 content, by the way. Its quite comparable to Ludi in that it offers monsters from ranges 2x to 8x.

I don't think comparing them to Ludi is a good comparison. The mobs in Ludi are really low whereas Magatia maps are swarming with mobs. Magatia mob's HP/XP ratio are horrendous whereas Ludi has a decent HP/XP ratio.

Actually the mobs in the ludi dungeon (clocktower) are really good and have a buffed spawn. No one still goes there regardless, though I did for a while because I preferred it to the crowded maps. Many Magatia mobs have a good hp/exp ratio- Idk why you think they don't. Roids were an amazing training spot in gms, as well as other mobs too. I trained there a *lot* in gms with my bf and it was really fun.

I don't really care about Magatia. It's a nice spot but I would find it boring to even be there.

The ONLY thing I want from that map is the ability to forge Lidium ores into Lidium, (seriously, why isn't there a NPC yet that can do that?). There are a bunch of Glimmerman items that require a forged Lidium that could be worth it or nice to see around FM for a change (I'm looking at you, Neva).
