Solved [Solution Given] mapleroyals has stopped working

hi my windows 10 did a update automatically and now i can't open client! my firewall is off, and even launch as administrator is not working too. same error message

i can't get to login screen

 

Try to play around with the compatibility settings.
When I get this error I just simply disable all the compatibility settings and launch the game.
And when I get this error again, I change compatibility mode to "Windows 7".
I do this back and forth.

i think @Crowley meant to right click mapleroyals>properties>compatibility>untick compatibility, etc

u can also try to undo the update

 

ty! it worked after many tries. but seems like i need to repeat it fro every client?!

i'm not sure what windows 10 did because it automatically restarted T>T

 

I also started having this problem right after windows updated. I did a system restore to revert the last critical windows update (was on 3/13 for me) and it has fixed the issue.

 

I just left my computer on overnight and the issue is fixed o.o
