I once played Maple with a close friend, and after we lost interest post-BB we talked less but kept in contact and eventually one of the days I took a vacation and travelled to friend's area (because I had stuff to do there as well) and so we met up and we hung out on lots of non-maple related things like dinner and such, was quite fun. I am considering maybe doing the same for some other friends that I still have contact with, even though most don't play Maple anymore we still forged strong friendships over time.

 

@Dianana @yogurtseller and I got breakfast on Thursday morning and then met up again today when Dianana and I were leaving Vancouver :3

And had more - you guessed it - red wine (as dinner LOL)

 

• First time i met 2 People i knew from Khaini - GMS.. i was +/- 15 at that time.. first time meeting and went sleeping there for like 4 days since we tought we needed more maplestory time...
• After that i meeted some more people from Khaini (all Dutch people ofcourse), always ended up in a sleeping/LAN party..
• When i was 18 and got my own car i used to visit some people i met because of those new friends like every weekend or so

Nothing much more to tell but ye... in total i meeted +/- 8 people i know from maplestory... besides that i meeted lots of people from Dutch community forums !

 

I met a guy that lived near me in Europe maplestory back in 2012 and we had alot of mutual friends. We became facebook friends but we never met, until now this new years eve i ended up at a party at around 03:00 am and it showed that it was his party. We hade some fun conversations and we both remembered when we met in MS

I start mine then :
1. Back in 2006 it was my first time playing MaplestorySEA for the first time. I moved myself from Cassiopeia to Bootes. In 2007 I've joined different guilds and the following years to one of the strongest guilds and another guild in the alliance which owned by one of top Buccaneer in Royals. I've met 3-4 of them during my high school. As in this server there are a lot dramas and memorable things happening, those events and incidents are unforgettable!

2. Soon, I met many of them during my Tertiary and University. Still, many of them are close friends. I met a friend who had problem with her family and got pregnant, I accompanied her and saw her worst side with tears. I met a friend whom studied as a nurse but slitted herself and dated herself with old uncles. I also met many terrible people and broke friendships too.

3. After quitting Maple for many years, I joined MapleLegends in 2015/6. I met a group of Singaporeans and one from my hometown Penang. We instantly become great friends, we played Pokemon Go, food hunting and much more together. Even we've quit the game, we keep in touch and gather whenever we are convenient.

4. End of May 2016, I've joined MapleRoyals. Here I met many many many friends. Some of them were sooo awesome as we shared so many stuffs. I don't meet most of them actually but we exchanged our Facebooks. Around July or August 2016, I joined SGKakis. Soon, I was invited to a few gatherings and then go out with small groups or a few friends. In games, there may be someone who dislikes a few of the members in the guild. But actually they are really nice and sweet people in real! Even some of them are banned, we are still keeping in touch. During gathering, we usually forget about meeting each other through game. We went to parties, food hunting, karaoke night and much more! A few of them even sent me off at airport when I was flying! Those days are truly memorable. Thanks to SGKakis!

5. Oct/Nov 2016, Exile is born. I've met some of them before during SGKakis life. As so, they are pretty awesome, as well as the rest of the members whom I did not met before. Exile is a place where I know many people and it made me feel like a home. As time flies, I've also found some of my friends whom disappeared during MapleSEA or other sources. I appreciate and enjoyed every single things happened in Royals.

6. Lastly, I've met an idiot in Legends, we did not meet up before but luckily I've seen the worst side of this guy. Then, I met my current boyfriend Waterlemon/Shawn here in Royals. (I guess many people who know both of us have been knowing this since we are together.) He cheered me and gave me many motivations. I found out that he is a very sweet and kind guy, I never thought of a guy whom completely fits into my 'Ideal Man' list. Soon, we dated through voice and video chats, and we became a couple after a month and half. We met up after that and stayed together. We are now together for the 7th month and soon 8th. Although it is not long but we are truly happy! We are planning for more in future. Without Royals, I wouldn't have met him, my life wouldn't be that great. Thankyou Royals!

 

I met this cute blonde girl on GMS who lived several states away from me when I was in middle school (around 2007). Typical, cringy teenager online angst stuff went down and all. You'd expect it to end like every other dramatic online interaction after a year or so.

It's 2017 now. We still talk everyday (and have met irl).

Life is weird.

Do you both still play maple?

 

Yes we do, actually we just came back because we're trying to save money since we modify our cars too much and want to travel to Tokyo in 2020. His IGN on here is Karb and I'm Flogger lol.
