Recent one for me was people complaining about the troubles of having to play the game through grinding and trying to make money. Like guys - EVERYONE in this game goes through this at one point in their play-through... This ain't something only "you" go through.
The anti-bot system. You know, the one that prevents you from attacking any further until you move your character around a bit. Like, it's not my fault my Bucc have power stance while energy is charged, I-frames with many skills and almost none of them requires me to move thanks to the range. The class is designed to not require much movement and then I get punished by the anti-bot system for playing the class the way it's meant to be played. Equally as annoying while playing my marksman. Like, oh I'm sorry I attack from a distance, let me run into the fire and take damage once in a while I guess
Halloween event disabling pets. Then, I enable pet but forget potions so pet heal don't work. Also what is this attitude, Olivia? "How do you sleep at night?" On a bed of coins, biatch.
Something mildly annoying that just happened to me, I'm not entirely sure about how bids work in this game but I bid on something and then some other guy bids 100m above me and just wins the item automatically even though it wasn't the a/w .. ? I thought the seller would at least give me some time to outbid him...
Having a different lerp time. In royals, things like obstacles move differently on my screen compared to other players' screens, which is usually not a problem, but in Halloween Gauntlet and sometimes in GM events it means I literally see players walk through obstacles unharmed. In gauntlet, the other player has to fail at some point or be slow. If we are as fast as each other my opponent wins every time because they run through the last obstacles while I have to wait. I find it only mildly annoying because it's only 1 less token I get for clearing rather than winning, but still. Back in the day when I played other online PVP games, I had the exact opposite thing happen. I saw things happen before other players did, which made them think I was hacking a lot.
There's actually a way around this in gauntlet! When you get hit and are warped to the start, all the obstacles reset to the same starting place every time. This means if you get hit at the proper time in the 5s countdown before it starts, you can get the obstacles to line up how you want at the beginning of the run. The exact time to get hit will vary depending on the map, so I'll leave it to you to test and figure that out
Ah, that's why I've seen some players run up and get hit on purpose by the laser thingy at the start. Thanks for sharing that. Bad design though.
People that still look like noobs with default face and hair at level 120+ It's probably just a pet peeve of mine, but it legit bothers me a little bit when someone at that high level still looks like a level 10. Sometimes they may wear 1-2 nx items. Sometimes none at all. A random mule is one thing, but I'm talking legit players participating in boss runs and the like. You don't need an RP haircut necessarily. Just buy a REG or VIP hair coupon and face coupon at the very least, please.
I thought this was just me lol. But now I'm inspired to do the noob look too knowing someone else is annoyed by it xD
