They should Not allow players to multi-client. this is the main problem about why everyone is quitting their class to play a higher damage class. people just make mules and use it on the best job in the game , Night Lords
To be honest with you when I first joined royals I thought multi client was something cool. Was nice the fact that they allow you to have more than 1 different account logged into the game. IT was something new that I wasnt used to. But it brings issues. It was a good intention, easy to recognize that, but it changes the whole game. Now that is implemented, you can't really do much about it than let it be the way it is and it always been. Right now I still think we can work with that, there's still good things about it. But like every system, it has flaws and theres stuff that needs to be fixed since it's obvious that this SE mule thing sabotage the gameplay destroying and completely making this class worthless to main. There's a lot of things that are not understandable on the server. Because despite being a good one, you call yourselves nostalgic and you really are exigent and picky on little things, like having to travel to NLC just to recharge furys. It seems like you want to maintain the tradition, 'the way it was' but......... ???? what??? Hello? I have no explanation. Being conservative in some little things but being completely inconsistent on other stuff shows that the 'pay2win' mindset (per say) or the competitive spirit that nexon imposed won. If you do pay attention, the ones who complain about the 'boring old school stuff' argue in favor of hp washing and leeching and hitting 9999999999999999999999999k on zak and bombs and weird skills and shit and nl 30k hp yey im so cool I didnt even played my char but look at me I voted for so long, im so rich I sold so many hours worth of leeching ya I'm pro. Great job, great commitment,a lot of respect. I know it's hard. but there's really no point to at least not give other jobs a chance. So my feedback stands on not allowing players to have SE mules.
Idk why everyone and their mother is making a thread to buff their class. If you want to make a constructive discussion for buffing your class, acquire the data for the current situation versus the implementation of the specific changes you want. Then expound on that with actual evidence, hard numbers. By how much DPM, assuming the same att gear and perfect weapons, what about with and without the MM having SI? Anyway, I'm someone who has mained bishop for over three years now. I've poured probably 200b into making mage gear. I could easily have had a 9k range night lord if I decided to main that class by this point, but I decided I loved playing a support class instead. So... I did. You should play the game in a way that feels fulfilling to you. For me, that was being the best bishop on Royals. For others, it is completing all the quests and getting the quest specialist medal. For others, it is collecting monster cards. For others, it is socializing in FM all day. And for others, it is being the number one DPSer. And for the latter, they they should make a night lord. The people in this thread who say that no one wants an archer main because they can just be replaced with SE mules obviously are not into the current Horntailing scene. Every single Horntail run I have been on at mid-late game level specifically recruits for a BM or MM player in the party. SE mules in a HT party at that level aren't a thing. SE mules at Zak and Krex? Yeah sure. Not HT, which is arguably our most important endgame content. And honestly? I suggest making friends. Join a guild. Boss parties in my own social circle, which is largely comprised of the top players who COULD mule, very easily, if we wanted, are pretty much just friends asking friends if they want to run and saying ok, what do you want to run on? BM? Sure. MM? Sure. Bucc? Sure. Shadower? Sure. Point is, if you have friends, they'll boss with you on whatever class you want pretty much, except beginner and arch mage. Even then, I've had arch mage main friends go on HT runs with their friends. So yeah, if you feel excluded for playing the class you want to play, you probably really need friends, rather than petitioning for an unsubstantiated buff for your class. The leap in logic here makes zero sense to me. I don't follow at all. Anyway, Royals is Royals. Nostalgia is subjective. Multiclienting and muling is here to stay, as it has for six years now. Other servers have different features, and people are always free to go to them, but just by the sheer numbers of players on Royals and how Royals has been number one for so long, Royals got it right for the vast majority of private server players. Not all, and that's fine. But it seems pretty silly to want to fundamentally change this game when it ended up hitting the magic formula for player count and retention.
excuses me.. your comment on my discussion is very Off-Topic. saying i need friends? who hurt you?. someone must have made you upset and now you are ranting on my discussion page. also you talk like we force you to play bishop.. you made your own decision to play bishop. just like how i decided to play MM what does HT have to do with my discussion? my post is asking for a MM buff because it is in fact below average. also i think you read my discussion post wrong. Everyone wants archer main, but they cannot find one. so they are making se mules. I want to point out that my dicsussion post is requesting for a MM buff, I am talking about the damage is below average in general, (this includes killing all sorts of monsters in the maple world) not just killing bosses like HT. My post is regarding MM as a whole content. Not just end game content. Anyway, enjoy your day Shiyui
I played a different server where they allowed multi-client but will restrict multi-client in boss maps (zak, HT, krex etc). Only way to get a personal mule in a boss map was with VM ware or a second computer which they allowed but would be tedious for the player so no one bothered.
She isn’t insulting you for allegedly lacking friends. She is explaining that your perception may be skewed due to such circumstances. In parties with strangers often odd/“high” (I use this term sparingly lol) standards and expectations are set for potential members as the goal is often to minimize time consumption and maximize profitability. In parties with friends there is often leniency, understanding and inclusivity shown when a friend of yours plays or wants to play a class which may be less optimal from a ToC (time of completion) standpoint. Their intent leans more toward having fun and with their friends compared to the public party with little to no emotional investment/involvement in the party members themselves. Similar to how if a stranger were being mistreated another stranger is (on average) going to be less inclined to come aid in their defense relative to if that person being mistreated were a friend/family member. We naturally cater more to those we share a mutual bond (relationship) with over those who we do not.
There's always someone who disagrees. As if not allowing SE mules to get into boss map would hurt anybody.
hello, thanks for your comment, I would like try to keep the discussion civil and on topic. I believe your friend Shiyui is the one who have wrong perception not me. below are some examples. in the 1st sentence of my post, this is what i said. i think it states i am having fun. her post is really insulting and i think she did not understand what my post is about. when i am reading this, i think it means that she is not happy with playing bishop, and wishes to play Night Lord. No one in the post or comments have said no one wants an archer main. in fact. it is the opposite. Everyone wants a archer main. what does making friends have to do with my discussion? my post is regarding MM buff as a whole content. It can be solo training, or even solo boss. Friends have nothing to do with my post. This post is not about killing HT together. I realized after what @Pedro Oliveira. The answer is not buff archers. The real answer is to remove multi-client / ban multi-client players.
can u distinguish between the following: a below boss level (eg. lvl 131 is below zak lvl to leech) se mule, a lvl 131 zak helm looter, an above level (135 and above to leech zak) se mule, a lvl 135 archer you wish to leech in boss using ur other attacker? EDIT: Assuming all of them all ur char btw.
I think you do know that I know the sentence is not valid. He does have friends and if wants he can easily join zak or HT. Why are you talking about this? Every job can and the job can be completed. That is not the point. If you are a fund bish sure people rather have you on their party. And I've always known that having a main archer on their HT party it is better than having SE mule. But that still doesn't make archer main's worthless at some point (you talked about zak) and weak compared to other class because SE mules exist. You ask for numbers, but you forget about the important common sense characteristic when comparing jobs. Sure you can always play the game and find a solution for this flaw, but I honestly don't see any problem not being able to bring SE mules to the boss party/map. Make it fair...
You can't just remove multi client now that is implemented on the server for to long now and you can't just delete every character they invested into. But now you can argue: well, what about the SE mules? people invested time on those. The answer is simple: you remove those, to make it fair for archer mains. The answer is there! people just need to look into the server interest instead of their own. This hurts nightlords in the way that they now need to look into finding an archer main. Is this bad? might be, for some kind of players. Nightlord will start crying about this being a huge nerf? They might. It doesn't make them weaker but it does balances archer class. Thats indeed how the game is supposed to work and my main argument for this subject is appealing people to be reasonable.
we cannot distinguish ourselves, but If Royals have have established no multi-client rule. they can easily see who is using multi-client. They can check the players IP adresses, or check if he has the player on the computer has opened multiple accounts My arguement for no multi-client means that 1 person can only log onto 1 character. you can have a friend with lvl 129 SE mule to help you boss, as long as it is controlled by another person and it is their own account (no account sharing of course)
Pedro, we are not deleteing characters. .. i am simply asking for removing multi-client. They are still allowed to play their se mules or any other jobs My arguement for no multi-client means that 1 person can only log onto 1 character. you can have a friend with lvl 129 SE mule to help you boss, as long as it is controlled by another person and it is their own account (no account sharing of course)
just saying, if this happens then honestly, certain jobs will be useless due to their dependence on certain mules. for example, Arch Mages.
Maybe not allowing any aside SE character to get in. Want zak helm? buy the vip. Want to self leech? dont do it in boss. Thats a price I'm sure its worth to pay to someone who wants to main an archer, I'm pretty sure.
I do agree with this. just hard to ask for now. People who made their bish so they can self leech their own characters. People who built up their game plan on doing so would be to harsh. I just doubt the multi client overall will be deleted. As it should, in my opinion. Do arch mages need SE? Im just asking to remove SE mules out of the game. Same for leeching. Leeching is wrong. But what can we do? It is implemented for to long. Just add alternatives to leech like grinding spots and remove SE mules. It is enough to make everyone happy.
Anyways, don't you think not being able to get into a boss map with your SE mule wouldnt be a good price to pay if you plan to main it?
Meanwhile every other job can go in just fine. If thats the case, u wont see 2 archer parties. N ppl are more deterred from making archer cos they hv to deal with this bs
