Even though a lot of mesos and exploits have been fixed, mesos are still too easy to get and with a bigger playerbase this will be even more of a problem. Taxi rides and higher pot costs would be a small but good step.
Making TP rocks and safety charms sellable for mesos would greatly help our ever increasing end game population. So many people need AP resets for hp washing, and AP reset selling is scarce. Usage of a 15 attack ring. Ok lesgo, top 5 players get the ring OKAY MARTY START MERCHING AND GETTING ALL THE MESOS U CAN FOR FREE THEN BLOWING IT UP! mwuahaha
How about making monsters no longer drop smegas and have Fredrick or some other NPC sell them for 2m each? Currently smegas are so plentiful that people chit chat over smega.
I don't like this. They're sources of money for new players and smegas encourage a more social and friendly environment.
I barely play anymore so just give me all the excess mesos, they'll never go back into circulation :^)
You just throw all you money in circulation and destroy items you anyway would've kept.... You suck at money sink
We are now up to 219,356,000,000 from Owl of Minerva's, and 679,429,101,986 from Merchant Tax which came a bit later. I do agree there should probably be more sinks though.
Any idea you're leaning towards? Hopefully, some of the ideas I posted in the OP will get some traction.
Daily lotteries. Have an NPC sell lottery tickets for 1m each. Admin tallies up ticket sales and picks 1 or 2 winners. Total prize pool to be awarded to the winners would be something like 80% of the ticket sales (20% being the meso sink)
I like this idea, but I'd rather have it exchange for random items that could be new for the new source. Similar to a Gachapon.
That doesnt sink any mesos out, and would just increase prices even more I think, unless you could buy gach tickets with mesos
Why?... That would shake things up the economy in a good way. Take out Gachapon Tickets from the Cash Shop and have the only viable option to make mesos from NX be AP Resets which could soften the relentless demand. Teleport Rocks may be changed to work how they're suppose to work so we'll see.
