It doesn't need a client sided wz update and we are planning to move them again in the next server check/update. I just hope the same mistake isn't made when the positions are changed once more.
Give them what they ask for and they will still complain. But in all seriousness on topic, nice to see a quick response and resolution to a small issue.
OP's post was as civil as it can be and was merely feedback/suggestion. People only got upset when Kai decided to come in with his smartarse comment and expected others to read his mind in that it was just a "personal opinion". Players aren't out to get staff either; just take off the smarty pants and have a bit more respect and empathy, especially towards those who accidentally npced.
Yes, mistake. Whoever did the wonderful job on the Christmas FM made one functional mistake by swapping two NPCs in position. You know that’s a mistake, and you know what I was referring to, so I’m not sure why you decided to ask this? Side note for holiday positivity - I haven’t experienced it in game myself, but I’ve seen the FM and heard the BGM independently and I do think they were truly well done. If whoever made then is reading this thread, this error is small and mistakes happen. You did a terrific job and you should still be proud of your work. Thank you, whoever it was!
Although I didn't design the FM or music, I believe it was me who did final touches like the placements of the NPC's, and I simply put them where they seemed to fit best. I didn't consider habitual NPC clicking and presumed that with the FM being redesigned, the NPC's being redesigned and the NPC locations being slightly changed, that people would notice that some things had changed, and so this issue didn't cross my mind. It was also not mentioned by other staff during final testing so I don't think it was only me that didn't realise it may be an issue. I apologise to anyone affected by the issue. However at the same time I do wish players would pay a little bit more attention to what they are doing in the game too, especially when moving expensive items around or NPCing items in general.
yea and it a was a great idea to put Albert at the top so hes not where scrooge was the other day, whosever idea that was
