    killed 3rd time and nothing dropped at all.. it has to be a bug...

    Just to confirm, are you killing it yourself or with somebody else? The person who has the quest has to kill it (or at least do the most dmg) for it to drop afaik.

    The reason the Secret Spell Scroll didn't work for you seems to be that you hadn't assigned your 3rd job AP and SP.

    Really glad you got it sorted. I'll update you with Matt's findings. He killed over 200 Griffeys on the test server and the second item didn't drop. What he also found was that if you have one of the quest items in your inventory, you aren't able to get the Secret Spell Scroll quest from Tatamo. However, if you drop that quest item, then Tatamo will show the quest for you.
