Nerfing PB in the future

To everyone mentioning the cost of washing HP requirements for Pink Bean;

Pink Bean had a 1 hour time limit on GMS, didn't it? That meant that you needed about a collective 133m DPM as a group to even think about defeating it. The amount of gear it requires to put that together is a significant amount of money as well; should we nerf PB's HP as well because it costs too much to be able to defeat it within the alloted timespan?

As John has said before me, there is no timeline on the release of Pink Bean nor have we ever confirmed it ever will be released at all, my post is simply in disagreement with the statement that HP Washing should not be required to face the boss. HP Washing is an endgame mechanic in this game whether we like it or not; we can do it and have the HP to face these bosses, or we can choose not to and exclude ourselves.

 

Even if we made PB do no damage at all, you still cannot kill it within the hour time frame with the current state our Server is in. We do not have nearly enough godly geared players to run it. When I ran PB on GMS back before BB our Group on Broa was amongst the best groups who ran PB in NA (Rip Magicianmt runs). We had multiple players who hit damage cap on a regular basis with Apples, but alas it was not enough.

It wasnt until after big bang when the whole Potential system was introduced that PB was then downed. Seeing as how we will never have potential on here we would need an entire squad of players who had close to perfect, if not perfect gear.

So my point is, even if we had wheels and loads of HP washed players, we still wouldnt kill PB, since we dont have anywheres close to enough players who do enough DPS to kill PB within an hour.

 

In other words, Pink Bean would have to be nerfed on not just one, but multiple fronts for it to even to be considered, which puts the possibility of it being released to zero. That's not an opinion, that's a fact.

 

So now you've reached the conclusion that there is no way Pink Bean would be possible if it were added to our current server. That means that theorycrafting about how much damage it should do and how much HP each part of it should have is entirely a redundant topic; this thread is literally discussing a nerf for something that doesn't even exist.

If and when Pink Bean is announced to be released on this server, we'll release it in the most balanced manner that we see fit, and if you would like to make feedback if it becomes necessary, then we can restart discussion. As of right now, I see absolutely nothing worthwhile coming from this thread except an inevitable discussion/debate/argument/flame war over the necessity of HP washing, so I'm going to close this thread.
