Hey there! New player here that hasn't actively played since like ~2015! This game was a big part of me growing up, as probably for most of y'all! So I wanted to get back into the nostalgia. But since it's been a few years I probably forgot a loooot haha. So I'm asking you guys for some tips and advice. Everything potentially useful is appreciated! I'm at level 47 now playing my DEX-less assassin and I don't want to miss out. For example, are there some things that should be done at a certain level? I know the basics like job advancements etc, but nothing about HP washing and stuff like that. Everything appreciated, thanks in advance and greetings from Germany! Steve
HP washing for your first character is very hard, so I wouldn't worry too much about that yet. If you reach bossing level there are other ways such as gear and hp quest to increase your hp. Besides that, very few things are level restricted. The quests related to pirate party quest (PPQ) need to be accepted before level 100 (and after 70) but the PQ itself stays available. Maybe a few other quests are but nothing really major. There are some recommended things though. If you have the money (most likely from voting) you should get a zakum helmet at level 50. my 2 cents of advice is - from voting, you can buy AP resets and sell to others at 10.5mil each - as much as possible, try to do the adventurer's assignment quests from Olaf, they give great rewards and a good amount of max HP. Welcome back! As recommended above Olaf's quest chain is definitely very high on the list. pretty much every area boss has a quest chain, most of the rewards give like 80% exp if you do them on level. Assassins are relatively strong so you should not have much problems killing them. Haste helps a lot with finding them. Olaf wants you to do quests and to kill area bosses. Its win-win When I started my NL as an ironman (no party, no trade challenge) I set myself the goal of getting the quest medal. 800 quests for +5 All-Stat and a bit of hp. The monster card medal will be better later on but the stats are very nice and quest medal is significantly more flex. It made me fall in love with the game again. Some Assassin tips. Get an overal and scroll it with LUK. LUK OA scrolls are very cheap, itll carry you until level 90-100 when you can start worrying about getting enough dex for a Red Craven. You can go for DEX, it might be better at some point. I'd just go for the easy route for now. If you are female you can maybe use the low level overall instead of a bathrobe (they go to +9 DEX or LUK iirc). You can grind them yourself in the kerning subway at the small ghosts (i forgot name) You can very easily farm the materials for work gloves and scroll them for 5x60% glove for attack or try 1x10% first and go for 11 atk gloves. It'll carry you until lvl 100. You can do the same for cape and earring DEX/LUK. High level throwing stars recharge costs have been (significantly) increased. Stick to whatever you can grind for now. May you become rich enough. Hwabi's come from many gacha's and people npc them. You can get them for like 500k-1m each or even for free sometimes. Happy mapling and good luck on the grind
Adding to the above, if you like PQs then Orbis PQ after 51 is an option. 20 times nets you a 13 attack glove (need to spend your tokens of teamwork to scroll it from 3 to 13 but it's 100% Scrolls). If you have leftover tokens of teamwork you could get boxes from cody with a chance to contain teamwork stars too (worth ~70m) but it's a low chance.

I'm seeing there's also this "Rose Garden HP Vial Exchange". that sounds promising.... rose garden is lvl 175, and takes 40 mins... so surely that must give wayyy more HP than reuel does, right? pro: .... noob: .... pro: .... noob: this is SO DUMB, why don't the staff fix this? we should get rid of HP washing and buff the HP quests- notbanevading47: nooooo, that's a horrible idea! what about the APR market? think about the new players like me and my brothers struggling to survive. we need to sell APRs to live.
