You can solo BF because you're bombing it.
Sure you can Boomerang step it for ages but that's not very efficient is it, Alex.

As far as BFing as a Shadower, the i-frame prevents comboing different skills (B-Step + Assassinate/SB). With I-Frame "fixed" you could actually kill BF efficiently using a wider assortment of skills rather than Copy/Paste 00000005000, click click click click, boom boom boom boom. Doesn't that ever get boring for you?

The same can be said about Buccs. In v83, Buccs were among the best BFers because they could use multiple skills in transformation to keep BF pinned WHILE maintaining a high DPS.

Any class can kill any boss. Be it Anego or BF or Bodygaurd. From what I recall a Bishop and and I/L Archmage duo'd Anego faster than many BMs/NLs a few months back. Changing I-frame won't change who BFs/Anegos. NLs and BMs have been killing both for ages now (Vaseline, Luckylook, etc.) The I-frame change would make it so "Lower tier" classes can actually demonstrate 1v1 capabilities on BF

 

Why would you even bother using bstep with assassinate against bigfoot. If you really want to kill bf as a shadower without bombing it, you can just put assassinate and dark sight on a macro and time it against the bigfoot. Assassinate's damage is a lot higher than bstep's damage

 

Is that the best DPS for all bosses or just Bigfoot?

 

Dark sight -> Assassinate -> Bstep Macro is probably the best
Its the best DPS for all bosses when you reach ~8k range assuming you drop ~7bags/sec
(These figures are ballpark)

 

That's not true. Assassinate cancel w/ B-Step macro > Assassinate.

Is ANYONE able to give us SOME KIND of ETA on this new source? Currently, all lag, disconnect, server, and bug issues are pretty much going to the wayside with "don't worry, it will all be fixed in the new source". That's nice and all, but with no ETA on the new source, and nobody knowing whether it will come out tomorrow or in 3 months, it is sort of ridiculous, especially when the server is unplayable for a crazy amount of time everyday at this point with stupid bad lag and disconnects and crashes.

Would anyone care to enlighten us even a little bit? Honestly doubt any of us would care if you said to expect it in ~3 weeks but it came out in 4.5 weeks. Any sort of estimate would be greatly appreciated.

Just to make the hype even higher, here's a rhetorical question: Since we're technically moving to v83, will the chairs issue get fix? 2 layers image and player's x&o for example.

 

@Matt mentioned in an topic before that the 2 layer issue is fixed but afaik not player positions. Please correct me if I am wrong
