if nexon had a policy like jagex does with osrs then i dont see a problem with it. at least nexon's staff are formally trained in coding despite their apparent incompetence (which isnt incompetence but greed as they choose not to fix stuff when it doesnt make them money).
If the staff is incompetent, then you must also agree you are wasting your time here and your time would best be served playing on some other server where you feel the staff are competent. Let's stay on the topic of this thread please?
I'm not quite sure what that statement has to do with anything. A few of the Royals staff play on another server while also performing their staff duties here. Likewise, we've had other pserver staff play on Royals as well.
But the thing is their servers were not rekt as royals is, so i get how they might have played on royals, but thats prob when they just wanted to try out and such, but if our staff members are playing on different servers while us royal players have been waiting for 4 months for royals to be fixed, than obviously u should be spanked. Just saying if i had a job and my job is getting rolled over, I wouldn't even have sex for until i know my job is secure and the thing i like doing is going to be there in the future, but hey thats just me, but if the staff doesn't want to, then how about you guys tell us the truth about how long it will take to get this fixed and maybe we can pitch in as a loyal royal community. You need some medical attention with the way you cannot control your emotions. Whether you like it or not, in the very end it is their server and they previously did a good job of creating a community that lasted for 3 good years. Bashing their head for one, even though important mistake is definitely motivating entire staff to work as hard as possible. Keep going, i can see Kevin wanting to spend 10 hours daily on the fixing project seeing how the same community they created is now pitch-forking their heads. They made a mistake and they know it very well. The server is not functional, unplayable and close to dead, and yes - everyone knows it. It's up to them when the server comes back to it's old glory, and if it ever does. It's their hard work that has to be put in to make the server great again, and considering royals was never a p2w server you could argue that unlike other servers, Royals isn't there to make profit off donations. Which in the very end leads us all to think that the main goal in creating Royals was to actually create a great community on a nostalgic maplestory version that we all loved. Now the same community is turning aside from the staff, because they did a mistake. You think they don't know they made a mistake? You're pissed, angry, everyone is because we all see a server we love fall so low. But they are getting reminded about their mistake every single day. Anytime they go to the forums they see a bunch of people bashing their heads on shoutbox, and another bunch writing in threads like these. If i was in their place, i would lose motivation to fix the server - honestly. If you want to see the server go back to where it was, then instead of whining on every step try doing something useful.
This statement is so wrong and ill-intended that it hurts the very bottom of my soul, and it makes me question my friendship with you truly. Now if we're going to be statistical, I guess I'll have to let you know that 2 or 3 out of 18 does not make a majority.. and thus shouldn't be refered to as 'most of royals staff'. But that isn't what really hurts my soul.. What hurts my soul here is that you are trying to start drama once again, where you know that some of the ones you'll hurt you've been friends with, which I don't feel okay with. People can see my gaming activity every day on Discord and they can see I'm not playing royals, but rather playing WoW with Zynzer or Pit People with my girlfriend, but no1 bats an eye. But as soon as a member of Staff logs in on a different maple pserver in his or her spare time, the entire world must know of these evil deeds and make sure to denounce this person. Now if anyone here wonders why I've been playing other games for the last year or so, it's because I've lost interest in my role as a player on Mapleroyals a long time ago. And if anyone wonders why I've lost interest in being a player here, it's because of how my friends started drama with the intention to hurt me, and you were one of those friends Sami. It's at that time I realised I had to make a choice, as both being a player and being a Staff member at the same time was not going to work out very well, and thus I decided to dedicate my time on royals to just being a Staff member. And that's kind of something I wished people would realise, that we have the intend to keep our gaming life and our Staff life seperated, but that our 'friends' don't understand this concept very well at times. And because of that I'm fairly disgusted by hearing statements such as the one you've made, since you're now judging a member of Staff on his or her gaming life rather than his or her Staff life. Now that aside.. On the subject of whether a new world will or will not be considered, just like others have anticipated I also highly doubt this will happen anytime soon. We have implemented the tools for a second world to be possible in the future, but the time for launching a new world is definitely not going to be right now.

Y'all blew a 21 point lead...Keep dreaming though! It'd be interesting to see a new world with different modifications. I know nothing about tech but if GMS has a reboot server could it be possible to have one here? I guess a big dilemma is that I'm comparing two servers that are many years apart from each other.
I see no better way to bring a huge influx of players/playerbase back than by adding a new world upon the new source being fully functional
Dear MapleRoyals Staff, Just wanted to let you guys know that there are still many people who truly appreciate the relentless effort that you guys put into this server and not just trying to get things to work, but making it better and more enjoyable for all Maplers. It's definitely no easy job, especially since you guys have near to no funding for this. Don't be disheartened as you guys are doing an awesome job! There are so many MapleStory private servers out there, but most of them are Pay-to-Win, and with just so many different systems and characters that don't work. You guys have taken things simple, yet meaningful as you made it work wonderfully and kept the community tight. We really look forward to the time when we can once again indulge in this nostalgic version of MapleStory which I'm sure brings back lots of fond memories for most of us. From the MapleRoyals community, we recognise your tenacity and altruism in doing this for us, and we love you! Keep up the incredible work!!
I agree. Other servers are either: 1. Post BB - have the evan and aran bullshit 2. p2w 3. Buggy af 4. Inactive - you can see "yesterday" or even 2-3 days ago when you open their shoutbox 5. All of the above. Royals is one of a kind and when the new source will be done, it is going to be the best server in all times. The only problem here is we only have one developer but it costs a lot of money (and time) to hire more developers. Nexon is a huge and wealthy corporation, comparing the admins of Royals to Nexon is like comparing small business owner to Apple or Google. It makes no sense.
