I may be intruding since I’m not going to offer, but it is considered discourteous when:

1) someone autowins a bid and then no attempt is made to liaise with said buyer
2) you raise the bid price after someone’s autowon the bid because too many people offered, not having researched into market price to begin with

In addition it’s rude af to attempt to snipe an item after someone’s already a/wed. It’s called autowin for a reason.

I would suggest you close the thread then reopen a new one when you’ve thought about it. Your level of trust amongst your buyers diminish rapidly when you change your bidding details. At least be clear in your wish to reserve the right not to sell if you’re going to keep changing your mind.
