    Text Form
    Living two blocks from you was a girl you were never really aware of. She's lived there for the past almost three years and you just never noticed her. Perhaps it was because she was just too plain and just never showed up on your radar. Sadly, she was painfully aware of her dull and lackluster looks. Even her personality was meek and unassertive. Everywhere she went, she felt invisible in the otherwise colorful and busy world. She was tired of being pushed aside, being ignored, and always feeling dead inside. She wanted to change, no, she needed to change. She wanted people to notice her. She wanted to be the center of attention. She wanted other people to be invisible and for everyone's eyes to be only on her. There has always been rumors about a strange being that lived in the dark back alleyways of Ludibrium Tower. In exchange for gifts, this being could grant you any wish to your heart's desire. After a long day's grinding work in El Nath and being passed again for a prettier attacker, she was down to her final straw. She decided then and there that she needed to find this strange being. After hours of looking into every strange alley in Ludirbium, she finally found "it".

    She asked it, "Please make me beautiful and let everyone's eyes only be on me." She then dropped a stack of 100 onyx apples as a gift. It accepted it and replied, "Your wish has been granted."

    She felt her self change and in a blink of an eye, she became beautiful. Overjoyed, she ran home to visit her cute next door neighbor.

    She approached him and introduced herself, "Hi, I'm Shanni!"

    He replied, "Wow, why have I never seen you around?"

    Shanni just shook her head shyly, when another girl popped around the corner into view.

    "Hey Jackson!" She chimed and as soon as he tried to reply, Jackson fell to a pile on the floor DEAD.

    Both girls screamed and attracting more and more attention. One by one, they dropped to a pile on the floor until Shanni was the only one left standing.

    Horrified she ran back to 'it' and asked what happened?

    It replied, "You wish that everyone only had eyes for you. So when they look at another, they simple cease to live. They will forever only have eyes for you."

    Horrified by what it said, she was determined to live the rest of her life covered up from head to toe.

    However, every once in a while, when she wanted to feel beautiful again, she would reveal herself to a stranger knowing fully well what will happen after.

    Will that next stranger be you?
