All iTCG changes were announced a very long time ago, so players knew all along what was going to happen to the recipes.

When i started playing Royals, i didn't know about the FM warp button till like, 7 months into the game, so i basically walked everywhere because i was too poor to buy teleport rocks. I have a nostalgia boner now.

 

If the Warp-to-FM is disabled, what is the Trade/Market button going to do?

I don't understand why people shitting on the Medals system. Personally, it is my favorite system in the game because it reflect your style in the game-play. Unlike the new version that comes with 50 attack medal shit, earlier version (like v83) we have really small stats medal that won't effect anything in damage. Some medal like "Quest Specialist - complete 800 quest", "Victoria Explorer - fully explore Victoria island"... is a pretty challenge to take your mind of grinding.

 

Yeah saw that too. Demo and snatch are ST skills and can only be used in ST. So if they can't be used while in ST what is the point?

 

medals are ugly, just a line of text under your character that you have to have in order to gain range/damage.

If ya don't like medals, you don't have to get one. Some of us quite like them- I know I'm going for the Quest Specialist asap. And I already know my progress towards it, how many I have done and which to do next.

As for FM warp button, I have nothing to say on it other than I liked it for more reasons than just buff mules, I didn't want it gone. Still don't.

 

Celebrity medal is cool, im going for that one if possible.

 

Will the horntail slayer medal be available?

 

I have one quesition and one question only. Where do I get the Taos to make BALANCED FURIES???

 

Before patch, u can get them from nlc gacha. Shld be available from cwkpq now. As for gacha, idk

 

Well, not only did the patch take 3 days longer than anticipated (though in all honesty, anyone could see this one coming), but as it stands right now, the server sounds pretty broken and non-functional. Great!

Pretty much 100% of the things listed here are major, essential game features: all 3 of the major bosses, "some skills" (inb4 "some skills" = genesis, brandish, hb... who knows?), buddy list, gachapon, cash shop, trading, storage, scrolling, character creation for fuck's sake. So what, new players won't even be able to join? That's ingenious.

And on top of this, it'll take an additional 1-2 weeks to get these rather basic features up and running again? Well golly gee. I knew it would be a trainwreck of a launch--the simple fact that a "24 hour maintenance" was first announced, and that it ended up taking over four times that amount, was enough of an indicator, but even I didn't know it would be this bad, and I'm a pretty cynical guy. I honestly applaud this level of laziness or incompetence, or whatever talent it took to create this beauty of a shitshow.

In addition, three of the things I was most anticipating--CWKPQ, Mu Lung Dojo, Medal quests--won't even working, nor will they be functional until well after two weeks from now? What even is there to be excited about? Class rebalancing? Nevermind that though, when some of the skills supposedly won't even work.

Oh, and removing the FM button. Brilliant move, I gotta hand that to ya! It's the icing on the shit sundae, that's for sure. As an added bonus, we have 4 less inventory slots. We all asked for that one. Thanks.

Not only is this community a joke (a notion of mine which has been reaffirmed for all of the dicksucking in this thread and the blind "OOH YAY NEW SOURCE!!111" sycophantry), but the administration really has a way to make an impression as well. Nice job guys. Nice job. I know everyone was clamoring a long time for the new source, but let's be honest: you're kidding yourselves if you think releasing it when you did was a good idea. This took way longer than you expected, way longer than it should have, and even with all that time down the drain, the server as it's been released seems virtually non-functional.

I've rolled my eyes at many of the events in the past year, and I've joked about some of this server's terms of service, but this is by far the biggest and most clownish mistake I've seen from the administration so far. It's pretty embarrassing, and I'd honestly be more upset if it weren't so hilarious in the scope of its bluster. To Matt's credit, you did at least post an apology in the thread, for what that's worth. Regardless, I hope all the shit gets fixed soon. Probably gonna be another month, or many months, before the server's functional again, and before all the features we were promised actually work, so see ya guys then.

Actually, I probably won't. Posting on the forums usually isn't worth it, given how ridiculous and GMS-like this community is most of the time, and I only took exception here because of how ludicrous the whole situation was. Peace.

 

IMO making the hired merchants expire within 1,7,14 days will really kill the server somehow. Because that is generally what kills other servers. Who the hell would spend NX to hire a merchant? *Oh yes only pro players, they have done their washing and they will have spare NX everyday via voting* And by doing this the pro players will eventually monopolize the free market. New comers or mid-tier players can only earn mesos via selling AP resets. For example, if you gacha-ed a 15m scrolls, you wouldn't want to buy a 15m worth of merchant (in which the amount of NX could get you an AP reset) to sell that 15m scroll. Please reconsider on making the merchants expire. A market without stores will definitely kill the server as new comers and players will visit the Free Market the first thing when they reach level 10, to see how does the population like and to interact with people. When they see no stores in the FM it might give them the impression that the server is underpopulated and might just stop playing. Let's just hope the Royals will not end up like other servers.
