Asked ChatGPT at what amount of HP/MP should I switch from Cherry Pie to Elixirs/Power Elixirs Conditions given Cherry Pie, heal 2k HP MP, cost 3k meso Elixir, heal 50% HP MP, cost 9k meso Power Elixir, heal 100% HP MP, cost 12k meso Note: This is only an estimate of the HP/MP threshold at which it becomes more efficient to switch from Cherry Pies to % percentage-based potions. Please re-calculate accordingly if the market prices of Elixirs or Power Elixirs change.
That's just incorrect, power elixir become the best pot at around 14-15k (for mages at least), when talking hp it's a little more complex because you have to think about the most common hit you take. If you mainly take half hp hit regular elixir is probably better even at 30k, of you take heavy hits pe would be better. The issue with chatGPT, is that it doesn't calculate, because it's not really familiar with the concept of math
In terms of the Power Elixirs being best at around 14~15k MP, I would agree if the mages can set the AutoPot to 10~20% to min-max the Power Elixirs Note: I am using Power Elixirs now, but it's only because my MP is 30k now Example At 12k MP, Elixirs heal 50% (6k MP) For Power Elixirs, maybe 80~90% (9.6k to 10.8k MP) At 15k MP, Elixirs heal 50% (7.5k MP) For Power Elixirs, maybe 80~90% (12k to 13.5k MP) At 30k MP, Elixirs heal 50% (15k MP) For Power Elixirs, maybe 80~90% (24k to 27k MP) In terms of actual application, let's assume the mage has around 15k MP, and can take around 3k damage from the mobs (maybe skele or petri) The lowest they can go would be 20%, around 3k MP (heal around 12k MP), so yea Power Elixir is a better option If they set it higher, such as more than 30%, then Elixir would be a better option Note: this scenario is also not taking into account the high MP cost of Genesis 20 (4k)
