better exclude Tree Dungeon: Southern Forest IV from being the best place to find Green Mushroom, because it's horny mushroom ration outnumbered that of Green Mushroom. Even The Forest of Wisdom has more Green Mushroom.
Couldn't find if this was mentioned prior but just wanted to point out that you can do the re-acquiring dr de lang's notes quest 3 times (one per each npc's quest)
So I have compiled most/all of the "permanently missable" quests listed in this guide, and re-organized them based on level ranges so that we can use it as an easier reference for when we are doing the quests or just leveling our characters that we are planning on getting specialist/virtuoso but not necessarily doing the quests as we are leveling. I have also added some additional information here and there (for example I include the names of the quests that appear in the "Available" tab of our quest journal so that we know which questlines to be looking out for). I'm 95% sure that this information is 95% correct Collating all this stuff was a bit messy. I'm pretty sure I got everything though. Also, in the guide it says that the PPQ quests can't be completed after level 100, but iirc we can actually do that now since some time ago I believe a patch/update made it so that players can participate in PPQ up to level 200. So my notes here reflect that. please correct me if this is wrong or if you spot any other details I may have missed/got wrong. Spoiler: It's a bit long so I will throw it in a spoiler Levels 1 - 8/10: - Do all quests on maple island - Note: if you are playing a mage character, you will not be able to complete all the quests without over-leveling. Not sure exactly what the consequences are for over-leveling here (miss out on some hp/mp i think?) - Note: During events with EXP boosts, it becomes quite easy to over-level (beyond 8 or 10) while completing all of the quests on maple island. In general, while on maple island accept all of the quests you possibly can and complete as many of them in parallel so that you reduce the total exp you gain while completing the quests. DO NOT give him the black essence before completing this drop quest. Pro Tip: You can do Latanica infinitely for "infinite" NX (pretty grindy) Levels 60 - 69: (Drop Quests) - The Endangered Lives of Grays (2) (a.k.a. The Imperiled Grays): (During Artificial Combatant Zeno) you'll get this extra quest if you get the false wave translator the first time, you can't tell them apart though so just hope you get lucky Levels 70 - 79: (Drop Quests) - (lvl 70) Monster Riding: After completing this quest, drop the Saddle (Not recommended, requires 600 drops) - (lvl 70) Pheromone Perfume: This is the quest after Monster Riding. Drop the Pheremone Perfume after completing this quest. - (lvl 75) Dr. De Lang's Notes: After completing this quest (which is towards the end of the Magatia questline series), accept the "For Alfadno" quest but do not complete it, then drop Dran's Note, then complete the "re-acquiring Dr. De Lang's Notes" quest, then forfeit the "For Alcadno" quest. Repeat this process for the "For Zenumist" quest and the "For Phyllia" quest. Then you can decide who to give the notes to. Levels 120 - 130: (Level Restricted Quests) - (lvl 120) Tatamo's Suggestion: Can't be accepted after advancing to 4th job (Drop Quests) - (lvl 120) Maple Warrior Skill Book: Drop the Maple Warrior 10 skill book you receive after advancing to your 4th job. Can't be accepted after using the skill book Storybook Drop-Quests from Wiz the Librarian: (lvl 35) The Storybook on Shim Chung. After completing Mr. Shim's Request, drop the storybook. (lvl 37) The Storybook on Brotherly Love. After completing Brotherly Love, drop the storybook. (lvl 37) The Storybook on Kong Ji and Pat Ji. Event Quests: (Drop Quests) - Santa's Lost Sack of Presents -- During the Christmas event quest Santa's Little Helper, drop Santa's Sack of Presents. - The lost ticket to the beer tent. During the Octoberfest event, drop the quest item Ticket to the Beer Tent.
Great idea, I've also found this guide is a bit too long while grinding my lastest character. It wasn't such an issue at the beginning but we've found so many quests now! I'll take some time to reformat it soon.

Entering Ulu City Pushing forward in Ulu City Savior of Ulu City Ulu City Energy Thieves These 4 quests have old comments on them mentioning the repeatable part doesn't give extra progress. But my recent experience with 2 characters tells they belong to "Repeatable quests that count towards your completed (only once)".
Is there a way to tell other than not having them completed and checking the total before and after completing it? I have done both those quests before, and they show up under the "Event" tab

I'm at 911 quests right now without doing any drop quests, and I can't do them now as I have finished most quests, can I still get quest virtuoso?
Drop quests are indeed missable, because if you don't remember to drop the item you miss the quest. You should look into the hidden quests as there's quite a few that can help you finish your medal
The quest Maed's experiment doesnt pop up for me. I am wearing the cape, I have done the prequest Life Alchemy, and the Missing Alchemist. What am i doing wrong?
Anyone know how many quests there are in total, or maybe how many quests you can skip? I'm approaching Level 95 with almost 900 quests and I'm starting to run out of quests. I'm trying to calculate in Shao and Ellin quests, but I'm not sure how close to 1000 thats going to be without having done any event quests so far.
