Hi, My spot it (probably) being camped in Ch1Fm1. If i record it being swiped from me when i take it down and immediately put it back up, will the person get banned for macro-ing? Thank you.
You can record a few things: 1) You asking him/her whether he/she's there, at least over a few minutes. 2) Find out if he/she is in another shop. Try trading him/her. If he/she is, then you will be prompted a "busy" message. 3) Perhaps wait at least 10 minutes or so before closing your store. Then at the moment of your store closing, immediately reopen it. If it's taken, establish whether was it some other legit player who luckily passed by and saw the spot. If not, chances are it's taken by the botter. If so, make a report and we'll add him/her to our list of players to monitor.
They could be faster than you, so not always. It's best to contact a GM when you believe someone is botting a spot. Report videos showing players warning the camper they are recording and expect a reply if their spot gets stolen, followed by silence for a prolonged period after the spot is taken will be strongly considered as Kai mentioned.
Yes, contacting a GM would be the best option as we will be able to warp them away into an empty room.
