Hey guys! I have a few questions about leeching and the mechanics of the EXP divide between two players of different levels. I'm a far way away from getting Genesis (I'm a 7x priest now) but I was wondering: How is the EXP split calculated? If a 1000 EXP monster (assume I use Holy Symbol and the leecher doesn't attack at all) dies, do I get 800 and the leecher gets 200? Is that ratio higher or lower if the leecher is a higher or lower level? Is there ever a point where a Bishop is too powerful to leech someone? For example, if a level 80 something wanted to leech, is it better for that person to leech a lower-level bishop (assuming both bishops can 1-hit whatever monster we're imagining) to get a higher EXP share? Does the level at which a leecher "qualifies" for exp off a monter go by the bishop's level or the leecher? For example, a level 20 player won't get any exp at all if they're in a party with a bishop/priest at Skelegons, but they might if the bishop/priest is killing snails. Is there a specific level different the leecher and killed monsters should be at? I ask all of this because eventually I'd like to be the kind of bishop who can help guild members leech for free, but I need to know when that would be a good idea and when they can receive EXP in a party with me. Also, is there are truth to the rumor that more EXP is offered per person in a party of three (myself plus two leechers) than two with Holy Symbol? Thank you!
Spoiler Taken from Plenty's Leeching guide - https://royals.ms/forum/threads/leeching-guide.12989/#2 Formula to calculate the amount of EXP gained is: Monster XP * (0.8 * Player level / Total party level) * 150% (Only if you have maxed Holy Symbol) Example: Slimy ~ Leech Level: 100 ~ Bishop Level: 200 1000(0.8 * 100/300 * 1.5) = 400 XP per killFrom this you can calculate how much EXP you'll get whether you're the leecher or leechee, also showing that the higher the level of the leecher will contribute to a lower gain of EXP for the leechee and vice-versa. Spoiler Based off the equation provided above, it's always preferable that your leecher is a lower level, otherwise they'll contribute to a higher Total Party Level, meaning you get less EXP. I recall one experience where I was leeched at wraiths by a 120 Bishop and got (for example) 300 EXP per kill meanwhile when a 148 Bishop began leeching me, I got about 282 EXP. However the trade off at higher levels, which possibly contributes to 1 hitting monsters, and losing a little bit of EXP is worth it in my opinion. Spoiler When it comes to leeching and gaining EXP from other people's kills it can be one of two things: The person being leeched must be within five levels of the monster. The person being leeched must be within five levels of the monster. Note that only one of this conditions have to be met, so in reference to your example, a level 20 player will not get EXP from skelegons because they're not level 108 and the leecher is (most likely) not level 15 or 25. To receive EXP from skelegons the person would have to be level 108 (since the skelegons top off at level 113) or be leeched by a person that is level 113 or lower. Spoiler I don't have any concrete data to answer this, but from my experience, splitting leech (as in having two people leech per leecher) is always a bit more worth while since it's 80% of the original EXP gained from leech for half the cost with respect to time and money. TL; DR - The higher level your leecher is, the less EXP you'll get; you'll need to be within 5 levels of either the leecher or the mob being killed to get exp; splitting leech is worthwhile since the trade off is half the time and money for about 80% of the original EXP. Hope this helps!
so according to this i can level my bish to 130 max and there will be no issue selling leech at example wraiths
