Just wanna talk about the razor vines, it used to be my most hated quest, however I made a post on one of the hp threads that talks about how there is an infinite spawn in the top left corner of the map. It will always spawn 3 or 4 as long as you can kill them fast enough. If it isn't spawning at first, wipe the map, then camp top left. This lets me just have to press one macro every 8~ seconds, super afk.
Would it be possible to “choose” a higher difficulty level quest from Reul everyday for a guaranteed 40-50hp or even a higher chance of getting 40-50hp? @nut Otherwise, would like to suggest reduction of Jr Newtie etc as killing 40 is too much considering some of them respawn to Newties and they don’t drop the etc. Asking for a unwashed lv200BM friend with 16.8k hp
I +1 this idea, think it is really great. So people that got more time can get more HP, seems fair. Like just make it double the etc required then or something like that.
A guildie of mine had suggested to make HP quest repeatable (no cooldown) once players reach level 200. What are everyone's thoughts on this?
I think it's a bit strong. I wouldn't mind some expanded HP quest series that yielded better rewards or some other alternatives (i.e. droppable Chaos Elixirs, Evolving HP ring, Bosshunter questline, Blessing of Fairy revamped into HP @lv200,etc). But if players were really seeking no cd at lv200 then my thoughts would be that you have the default threshold and when you get to level 200, the threshold is raised higher. So, using Ranged class as example, this would provide an incentive for character progression for newer players to ~12k hp via Reuel hp quest+HP gear and then at lv200, they can further do HP quest to ~16/18k with Reuel hp quest+HP gear.
Since we're just throwing ideas out there, what if instead of a daily, at lvl 200 you could have it be weekly, and you need to collect 7x the amount of etcs for 7x the reward. The downside would be that warriors could sell hp service using their Ultimates.
as a level 200 unwashed NL - would be nice to have, just get more HP on a done character doesn't do any harm, and enabling me to do some bosses w/o HB
Yea, I can see reducing the petri vine amount required, or bumping the drop rate a tad is reasonable. I still maintain that the World Tour quest is fine as it is due to its accessibility and other benefits. Ultimately, the difficulty across tasks is not uniform, and I don't see a good reason why it should be. I think it's at a good point right now, with perhaps some slight changes made elsewhere. It's possible to make that a thing, but I wouldn't be in favor of it. In my mind, an implementation of this would just result in people always taking the harder challenge, or the harder challenge wouldn't be worth people's time. I like the variety that the quest currently offers, although it does get very stale when you've done 10k+ HP worth of quests. This quest in particular has a requirement of only 1 for one of the etc (Genesis Skull?), so the etc amount if balanced here. The Jr. Newties spawn extremely fast and the drop rate is fair. In general, all my comments come from the fact that I'd no longer like to consider improvements to Reuel's HP quest that involve increasing the HP gain outright, or making it quicker. I'm not the ultimate judge on what small tweaks should be made (like the ones presented here), so don't take my word as absolute. For Reuel's quest, the best thing to do with it right now, in my opinion, is to add more variety, which is entirely feasible, and something we've actually been considering internally (one staff member has some great ideas in this area). In terms of the other suggestions, I'd rather see HP gains come from newer content and ideas, which we have in the pipeline. As a player that has milked it for all it's worth, I think it's almost time we give Reuel's quest a rest and consider it complete.
I would love to see more ways of getting hp apart from just Reuls. this way I can have more content to do to gain hp faster. would hope it’s along the lines of PQ oriented but whatever comes is a bonus I would be glad to take thanks
Reducing the amount would be preferable. I've been doing Reuel HP quest on my Bucc and the quests that stand out to me as bothersome over my Hero, Paladin, and Bucc are: The Aqua Road quest, The Ulu quest, and The Dragon Forest quest. Petrifighters are already discussed. Flyeye droprate is just too low that I'd rather hunt 10~15 more Tentacles than sitting in the cave corner holding my AoE button for 5+ minutes. I'd want it reduced in half, please Similarly, the Dark Cornian is annoying due to how terrible the map(s) are. Reduce in half or by a third is my recommendation. All other quests are tolerable to do. Though I'd like to see Jr newtie etc reduced slightly or have Nest golem have chance of dropping too (later is preferable).
Just in case anyone doesn't know, Jr Newties have an infinite spawn as well. Look up Jr Newtie sniping, you just stand still and kill these two newties clumped up together and wait for them to respawn. No moving is ever involved unless you don't kill them fast enough and they hit you. Just in case you or anyone else doesn't know about this.
HP quest improved alot in last year or so i belive is at right place for now from what it was at the start I'd say HP quest need more maps rotations to explore the world and other mobs, also i noticed mid-early lvls or lower funded players got hard time with kiling some of them like monks for example so if that could be changed or not given to them (the <150~ lvl players) would be nice As for more hp am exited for the PQ's changes you guys hinted and i still belive royals must focus on teamplay and social aspect of the game as it was originaly made not the multi-mule farming as it drives people away... , so i hope HP pots is one of the rewards from the PQ's the quest got changed and there is no limit on it untill certain threshold depending on the class but i belive evryone can get to 13k+ ~ now without daily limit on it Spoiler: update #72 changes https://royals.ms/forum/threads/update-72-17-05-2021.190847/ Now, they will be infinitely repeatable (no daily cap) until the point where the user has enough base HP to reach at least 9500 base HP by level 175. This means that the quest takes the HP you still have left to gain by the levelling up to 175, and washing out the excess MP you currently have, into account. Concretely, all you have to do is visit Reuel, and accept his quests. When the quests switch over from being limitless to becoming once-per-day, you know that you will have at least 9500 HP by level 175 (or more, depending on your class). The quest progress of your current or previous ''Search for the Elixir of Life'' quest has been reset and the type of HP potion you receive has been randomized. This change is one step in a series of planned introductions that will make it possible for users to reach this threshold without having to resort to HP washing. Future patches will contain alternative ways to do this, as well. If you feel like mages should be included in some way to reach certain HP goals please let us know about the HP goals you have in mind and if they should be achieved in a similar way on the feedback forum. When faced with the choice of how to design this quest, we ultimately decided to take a more cautious approach to begin with, which involved the fewest number of loopholes and benefits for odd edge cases. The design released in this patch means that some minimal amount of AP Resetting is still required, since the system is built around making use of your natural excess MP. This was a choice made to avoid people using a loophole in the quests to gain more HP than intended in conjunction with HP Washing. We seek your understanding in this, and wish to highlight that this has been an attempt to, as precisely as possible, deliver what was asked in the Community Feedback thread. It is also worth mentioning that we have chosen different HP thresholds for different classes based on their natural HP at level 175. Thus all classes will be able to gain the same absolute amount of HP from the quests. This choice was made to preserve some of the unique selling points of different classes like their naturally higher HP. These are the thresholds for different classes: Hero: 17983 Dark Knight / Paladin: 17658 Bowmaster / Marksman: 9500 Night Lord / Shadower: 9500 Corsair: 9995 Buccaneer: 14945 Beginner: 6143
