Probably am derailing from the main topic. But i guess u can also say (that whatever im gonna state) is an example of how different staff deals with similar scenarios in different (and sometimes biased) ways. I 'like' how some staff points out that mentioning someone as someone with half a decent brain is rude, when more straightforward insults are ignored (and allowed) BECAUSE the person has similar viewpoints as the staff. Regarding this specific issue, it is obvious to me that the individual is insulting anyone who is unable to "interpret them" correctly (actually just ppl who simply have a different but not wrong viewpoint as the individual) as being too stupid (thus lacking more than half a decent brain). On the other hand, another individual was merely using back the words Mr half a decent brain, as a sarcastic reply after being riled by the rudeness that was implied. (and I'm not even mentioning the ruder posts also completely ignored earlier by the former individual). I agree that it is good to bring up the point that "insult is unnecessary". However, it should be targeted at the individual who started it first or the individual who was most 'insulting' or just everyone who was involved. The fact that only the individual who's viewpoint is different from the staff (as shown by the likes on the posts of the individuals) is being targeted gives everyone the IMPRESSION that those who support the staff's opnions will be favored, and that the staff gives biased treatment. Bringing this up not cos I want the staff to also starting punishing anyone. I just want to use that as an example of how inconsistent some staff are. It is indeed hilarious to see an example of the issue surfacing on that very same thread that was started in order to address it. Another point I wanted to bring up was that I get this strong impression that some staff are not accepting of opposing views at all! So whats the point of wanting us to give feedbacks, when what some of u want to hear is just strong support of your own opinions and actions? Feedbacks (from all perspectives) are valuable and important. I understand that some feedbacks are just ridiculous while some are just not feasible. However, it will do good to let the players who bother to even give feedbacks to know that their time and effort to provide their suggestions is APPRECIATED! Exactly like how some of the staff are complaining that the players are giving the staff the impression that the staff are not being appreciated for their time and effort. It has to work both ways. Regarding this specific topic, no one (be it staff and players) is able to give a convincing point as to why amending the T&Cs and implementing the rules consistently is a bad idea (while many points have been brought up by several individuals as to why that is a good move to the entire community). The closest I got was because the T&Cs actually have covered all aspects (including any believable claims made to have the intention of doing RWT) as brought up by Aaron, who has taken the time and effort to search for the definitions (hats off to aaron for pointing that out). However, he also agreed that it was a point easily missed (and actually missed by) most of the community. Thus, still the need for clarification. PS: of course everything i mentioned is MY OWN assumptions and opinions. Not all staff are like this, and in fact maybe none have the intention to do so. However, some of the staff comes off (gives the impression) like that through your posts and actions, and I'm pretty sure there are others who will agree with what i said. I just hope the staff gives themselves a chance to actually think through to see if there is any truth in my feedbacks, than to straight away reject and rebut because its an aggressive opposition view. This is going to be my last post for this thread for 3 reasons. 1) Things are getting way too hostile (even the staff are joining into the petty quarrels). 2) I feel I have fully explained my own views and given whatever feedbacks I feel that I should contribute as a player regarding the main issues of this thread. 3) Some staff are giving me (IMO) the idea that any opposing feedbacks and opinions will not be given a thought. So I feel its no longer worth my time and effort anymore. Thank you for reading.
