Rose Garden - boss didn't spawn

Hopefully the screenshot is sufficient. Usually when you enter the boss stage, there's some blue text that says something like "please defeat the boss" or something, but as seen in the screenshot, the latest Rose Garden update was me losing 5 Soul Crystals

I tried killing some monsters in the map but that didn't work
