We went in as a 5-man party into the boss map and we didn't see any statues inside. We dropped teddies where the statues should be, but the bosses didn't spawn. Everyone left the map and the timer was still visible on the Spooky World Entrance map. We didn't wait for the timer to finish and went in with 2 minutes remaining. The statues were still not there and that counted as 2 runs.
