Jason/xeorr, I don't see the need for your hostility, nor is "you must lack a social life" a valid argument.

Vergil, could you define what competitive means in your opinion? (I'm assuming you're going to be making an attacker after you've reached level 200 on your bishop.)

By the way - what kind of easy features is it you're thinking of that you claim alienate hardcore players?

You have a weird concept of competition, and if you are complaining about not enough people grinding to beat your leeched archer then why don't you move to a more competitive server? Things here, are as they are. I mean some people here are here probably to play a 10x server because they don't wanna spend hours griding a 1x server, so I wouldn't expect motivated grinders. And I doubt seeing a level 170 bowman (archer) motivates many.

I'll stay to give the new players who actually want a top end competition, the competing possibility, what you failed to give them. There are a lot of promising new players who are working on their gear, and yet to unleash their attackers. I am not planning on taking my Bishop to 200, so the top seat will remain open.

And I don't hate this server, it's just rubbish that there's none to compete with for me in here, even when other servers with even higher rates have far more competitive players.

 

How do i have nothing to do with this conversation? This is a public forum and I do have a level 140 archmage which i could use to self leech myself at skeles. If you are referring to my post being offtopic, then I was only going off topic, because I was just referring to your off topic comment, and I can add a OT symbol if you like.

And some servers are nostalgic due to community, not everything is about grind grind grind. Also most of this server is 18+, so some people just don't have the time to grind 24/7 and compete, especially with University starting in August for most people.

How my tone was not provoking at all, i was just offering my judgement, i'm not trying to piss you off, or harm anyone.

I do agree that what Jason said is WAY TOO HARSH, and he should of calmed down, but they only reason he is flaming is because you provoke him. (it may not be intentional on your part).

By saying this, i'm also not saying it is YOUR FAULT, i'm just saying that it takes two people to tango.

 

yea i suppose i was a bit harsh but i didnt mean it directly to vergil.. just in general thats how i feel about the whole situation and i have nothing against vergil like i said to each his own and if you enjoy the game that way who am i to say anything else

 

Alright, I suppose players that are slower than a leeched character do deserve the top positions in the ranking list. It makes perfect sense.

 

Wait I'm not competition for anyone? I got a partially working corsair to 181, and trust me, as much hostility as we hold for Jim, the dude would've smoked your ass at leveling. I hate that you act so superior to everyone else on the server except those select few that you deem worthy of your approval. You know, the game would be more fun for YOU if you weren't a condescending dickweed to so many people.
