Alright, maybe vote2win isn't the best term to use. How about vote2becomegodlywithoutplaying? I didn't say I could become the most godly player by purely voting, but I don't care about having the highest damage. You can easily become very well-funded by just voting (even though people who leech + sell NX will be more funded), and for me, that ruins the satisfaction of becoming increasingly more funded.
I didn't get bored of the gameplay. I kinda just lost motivation to level since many people are leeching from about 80-130 by voting to sell AP resets to afford it. Getting leeched seems like a mandatory part of this server for several levels. Kinda kills the nostalgia knowing every lv80 is getting leeched for a significant amount of levels.
Getting leech is not a mandatory way of leveling, it's just easier I don't think it kills the element nostalgia since there was already leech at Before Big Bang
To what I see in your post, it's like exposing yourself being hypocrite? Correct me if I'm wrong, but you said you've been playing in this server for 5 years and yet you don't even have a single character that reached lv200 yet? No offense for real, I'm just trying to point out my view. Also, vote2win is not pay2win, there's a reason we all play here instead of GMS, vote2win simple means that we can get NX for free instead of paying with real world currency just like GMS, so that we all can decorate ourselves with pretty NXs and even gamble with gachapon for free. Which is really nice, and I personally even think that 8k NX every 24hrs is a very fair amount for all of us, in all fairness. You said that if you've been voting everyday for 5 years straight, then you could've had around 14m NX or 70b+, if you're actually thinking that way, then why don't you just play the game? To be honest, to some lucky players in the server, they could make that amount of mesos in 2 years time or even less. Plus, if you hunt or boss around everyday, you could actually get more NX than you get from just voting in a day too. Just like what you said about "dedication" and "hard work", if you're actually dedicated of what you're playing, there's actually lots of things you can do in the game to achieve your goals. You've been here for 5 years and now you have an issue with vote2win and leeching? It is not compulsory for you to do what other people do. There's ironmen, they don't hp wash like the rest of the server. There's islanders, they knock themselves out on Maple Island. There's people who cap level to just play CPQ all day long. Some people find satisfaction in just completing all the quests. The problem you're stating has nothing to do with vote2win or LeechStory, it's your mindset. Instead of thinking "My hard work is nothing because I could've achieved it by doing minimal work," try "Man look how far I've come with my 5 years of sheer sweat and determination." Set your own goals, play the game your own way. It's no perfect world, doesn't mean you have to stay miserable.
I see your point, that a player who religiously votes every day and not doing anything else could have more resources by cumulation than a player who earns their funds by in-game means. However, I do not think is this is a fair assessment and I do not agree with your perspective. As you said yourself, for this inequality to exist, the voter has to vote consistently over a much longer period of time (5 years given by your example) in order to beat a year old max level Bishop in terms of funding. But it fails to consider if such a player manages to reach level 200 in a year, he probably has other non-passive ways to supplement his income, such as selling leech, doing APQ, merching, doing seasonal or GM events etc. So a player who plays the game actively and participating in other game activities, he could match the funding of a player who earns their wealth only by cumulation. Lack of motivation is a sign of being burnout, so what if you try going above level 90 and experience other aspects of what the game has to offer? For example, join and find a friendly bossing and social guild, explore the new maps/content you have never experience in pre-bb GMS and do quests. We are not kids anymore, we can't keep doing the same thing over and over again, have you babysit your cousin who can rewatch Frozen countless of time and not get bored? We are not at that stage anymore, so break out of your bubble and try something new. 70B in funds "If I voted every day for 5 years, I'd get 8,000 NX for 1,825 days, which means I'd collect 14,600,000 NX, or 4,709 AP resets. I could have had 70.6B on a lv82 Hermit. That's almost like endgame. I'd be able to buy the godliest gear without doing anything but clicking a Vote button once a day." Think about this way, if you do have 70B in funds, you can't really do much with it at your current level anyway. I do not know of anyone who has 70B of funds and still stuck below 4th job, you talk about the endgame, but you have not even reached the level yet. A max level Bishop will experience way more content and experience more aspects of the game than a 5-year-old level 82 character with 70B in funds. So your argument is difficult for us to relate too and even support it.
