I can't believe of the 7 pages on this thread this one actually made me gasp at how incredibly tone-deaf and ill-thought out this sentence is

Hello everyone! Given that the current conversation has been running along a seemingly endless hamster wheel for the past few pages and has increasingly devolved into personal bickering, I will now be locking this thread. As it stands, it seems that all parties involved with recent events have made their case and shared their central viewpoints. And any further debate on the matter of how certain vocabulary ought to be expressed and/or perceived may be better suited for the Lounge at this point.

To emphasize Matt's point earlier, we have begun an internal dialogue regarding how Staff can better enforce reports related to Harassment and Hate Speech. And as we have mentioned a couple of times recently, we are actively working on a broader update to the Terms & Conditions--this seems like a good opportunity to take a deeper crack at our rules on Harassment and Hate Speech as well. As someone who has actively participated in this discussion, I will make sure that the community's various voices and concerns on this matter are fully considered by Staff. Again, thank you everyone for your time.

It's Christmas season, be nice now yea?
