    Ehhhh this works with many skills, and it's kind of fun to teleport and cast at the same time. Telecasting they used to call it. I love doing it with magic claw just because I can :D

    It can be done with any keyboard reliably, it's just that the timing is a bit different on different keyboards, so you have to get used to your particular one.

    Leave it how it is.

    I love doing that on my DrK (Jumping and using Dragon Roar). Hasn't worked as well since the new source though, or maybe it's just that my laptop is new...

    it can be done in any keyboard as far as those i did test with, bit difficult on different skills.. such as Genesis who is by far the hardest imo..
    with Shining Ray is much more easy.

    really easy, constant press the side you wanna go ---> or <--- then attacking skill at Space, Teleport at C..
    tho with Gen its not work for 100% like other skills..

    PhotonSphere ty for show this can be done also with gen..

    I think Shining Ray works similar to Holy Symbol. During Holy Symbol animation, you can actually teleport left/right with ease. It's a totally different way to how Blizzard/Meteor/Genesis works. Do correct me if I am wrong, because I am very sure that HS animation does not work the same as the mages' ulti but SR is similar to HS.

    you right.. this why i said "tho with Gen its not work for 100% like other skills.."

    since the animation of gen is much longer CD its only work about 70% of the time if you get it right..

    but tbh this Gen trick is burn you out real fast in long leech or farm..

    Yea, and i had just got a shitty 5$ keyboard to telecast as well lol. Have a mechanical keyboard I use for first person shooters. Could not TC at all with it, 5$ keyboard worked 100% of the time. Kek

    They added telecasting back, because the change that disabled telecasting caused horrible delays everywhere. LOL

    Updated thread to reflect this change. Also did the following updates:
    • Changed demo video to a longer one.
    • Cited @Shiyui 's anecdotal evidence that tolerance of telecasting is 5 milliseconds.
    • Added comments about keyboard programming, and clarified that it deserves a permanent ban.
    • Small wording changes in other places.

    I can telecast genesis with 100% success rate with both 1 or 2 fingers on my 9-year old keyboard that I got free with my first PC.
    Genesis: N, Teleport: B
    I have not found another combination of keys that worked, at all.
    This combination of keys also works perfectly for jump casting. Jump: B, Cast: N
