Due to the recent skill changes for final attack, more players would want to have skill point in final attack for 3rd job training at least. It was noted in the patch notes people had 0 points in the final attack skill. On top of that, threaten has been fixed where pallies would likely spend their points there now instead of dumping into random first job skills. Didnt raise this before as I assumed someone would bring it up. This is about 50 SP reset a player has to get to meet the patch changes. Additionally, those first job points can only be reset via an admin. Could the players receive an SP reset for this change?
Agree. I spent my crusader's sp into mp recovery skill(3rd job) but it seems that shield mastery and armor crash are more useful now.. if there's a chance to rearrange sp will be pretty nice
I think you should post this in feedbacks, it's a very valid point, and i think we won't see anybody uses final attack unless they'll give us an admin SP reset
I'm not against this. Or at least a SP reset sales/bundles My first class here was a WK (in 2017 or 18) and I found the first 20 levels so slow that I SP reset to max final attack for the speed buff, and there was a nice SPR discount going on at the time so it was easy to change.
the issue with SP resets, is that they do not work on points you put in the lower job advancements, these points are as good as lost maybe a middle ground, where they'll reset our entire 1st job SPs, which would free up those lost SPs from 2nd job to be used again for 2nd job skills for the rest, you'd need to buy sp reset
Would this be discussed as it’s a feedback that is related to the patch and implementing it in the soomTM future wouldn’t be optimal. Are all players expected to purchase SP reset and make the character issues thread for the points to be allocated?
Don’t think that’s true. I’ve reseted 3rd job SP I put into 1st job skills using 3rd job SP resets, unless that was changed recently
i remember having issues with that in the far past (idk, 2+ years ago), but if it worked for you recently then i guess its no longer a problem. so if there's nothing stopping us from reseting the SP as is, its only a matter of how generous the admins want to be regarding this change to this infamous skill.
Oooh I just re-read the sp reset description, you can shift sp from a lower job upwards, but not from a higher job downwards. So I guess this isn’t too much of an issue, players should be able to finish reset in 2 weeks tops. Thanks all the amount is substantial for newer players though, do help them.
Honestly, for every major changes in Job Skills, the game should give SP Resets (untradeable is fine) to players so we have a choice to reset skills if needed. Actually, in official maple, they simply remove all skill points from every skill and make us reassign again.
yeah they gave out a few times. I rmb receiving them which is why i thought it would’ve been a natural thing. However there are many who bought the spr already.
Actually when i came back to play from a long (real long, like 5 years) when i logged i a had my sp reseted to 0 in some characters and a notification sayin i had 500 free hp on my shad, i don't see why they couldn't resets the sp for this skill changes since now some skills are useful and people probly has them on 0 (and used the sp into 1st and 2nd job skills) becoz of how worthless they were before the update.
What did your "keyboard setting" looked like? Was that wiped out as well with no skill in it? I don't know if I should SS my keyboard setting on my mules if this thing gets a pass from GM.
I think they should discount SP reset prices when skill change happens. They did this in Update#59 ( https://royals.ms/forum/threads/update-59-18-02-2019.135032/ ). SP Resets have been discounted by 50% for 30 days.
did not know about this. Seems like fair as it doesnt promote people to change builds, but fix those skills that were changed. This feedback is for mainly the newer players who dont have sufficient funds. I am afraid most new players wouldn’t know how or where to voice out, so hopefully we can assist with that!
The only problem with this is that players are unbelievably stupid and every time they hand out an SP reset people always fuck it up.
We have decided to reduce the price of SP reset scrolls, they will be half price for at least the next 30 days, effective immediately.
