As someone who has killed pink bean on GMS I can assure you that it will never be done on this server the way it is/in this version. 1. No WoD 2. no one (some people) has the HP requirements and getting to that requirement would be a tremendous amount of time, planning and effort. 3. simply not enough players at that high level (i'm not talking about just literal level) PB requires a very tight dps check and also tons of players with 12+k HP as well as multiple wheels. This server has none of those things ready. Edit: I forgot to point out that the way maplestory is designed there is no way to 'outplay' the boss. It isn't a game like WoW where you can go in undergeared and just play flawlessly to down something. Maplestories mechanics from a base gamepoint are simply no that way. PB is designed with many things that will one hit players which is why WoD's where introduced to the game. Look at any pre BB kill of the boss and even post BB you will see people consistently dying every 10 seconds and using a wheel to respawn and continue. Nexon wanted people to buy their wheels so they made something that required either a TON of HP washing (aka NX spending) or a ton of wheels (aka NX spending) On the topic of v83, people should not cherrypick what they want and don't. IMO if you want a 'nostalgic' old server wouldn't it be best simply to pick the oldest version rather than select features from an older one? I understand that newer versions have tons of really fantastic features that I think everyone would enjoy but still... if you're all about the 'nostalgia' then you shouldn't really want them. A good feature that comes to mind is the larger resolution of post BB. That was fantastic. That's literally the facts, I don't care how pro or good you think you are or how 'hard' you'll go. I guarantee you that even if PB was released and working flawlessly that it would take a group of 18ish very dedicated individuals to kill it who start new characters with that kill in mind. Even with those circumstances it would be an extreme challenge due to no WoD and how damage reflection works in the game.
Your knowledge of this server is great... there are several people who meet the hp requirement, I will too.
I guarantee that if v.83 does get released, there will be cherry picked updates done by the Admins and even more so down the line.

You have no argument why removing parts of an update and "cherrypicking" is a bad thing, it's very ignorant to say that everything that comes with one update is a good thing, you think people play here cause they want everything that comes with new updates? Well why don't you play GMS or something, "then deal with it"? Edit: You do know the Staff are not going to put in everything that comes with V.83, but of course they should, they have no saying...
I was just putting in my own personal opinion on the version. I know that if v83 is released there are going to be selected features from it. As for the whole 'why don't you go play gms' little inclusion you posted my response is that I dislike GMS and have no issue with either v63 or v83 nor did I say anywhere that I did.
