Stuck on full screen mode.

Hey there, for some reason, I cant seem to be able to change the game settings to run on window mode.
Opening the settings menu and changing it, or alt+enter just makes an error sound and doesn't do anything other than that.
Launching MapleRoyals.exe results in an error (-2147... unspecified error). I have tried deleting dinput8.dll and changing the compatibility settings.
I can launch the game using MapleRoyalsFullScreen.exe though.
Help will be appreciated

I got this problem before. Try changing ur monitor settings to 60Hz. Look it up online how to. It should be 59Hz currently.

 

My monitor really was set to 59 HZ, but the game does not load even after changing it to 60. (I get the same error message) Thanks for the comment though ^^

 

There's 2 .exe files for Royals. one for windowed(+full screen) and one only for full screen mode (if i do remember correctly). be sure to double click the non full screen mode with 60hz monitor. lmk

cuz this literally happened to me just 3 weeks ago after installing royals on a new computer

 

I'm aware there are two files. The fullscreen.exe one does run, but I cant change to window mode in game in any way. The regular mapleroyals.exe results in the error above >.<

 

aight, sorry. 60hz is the only solution I know of. try asking in the shoutbox, hopefully someone will give u an answer
