Funnily enough, you will find many people with the exact opposite issue (cant telecast on high-end mechanical keyboards, but whip out a 10 year old one and they have amazing results)
Changed my tele+ultimate macros to shift+ctrl respectively and can glide around the map like the goddamn golden god leech POS that I am.
I have tele on F, gene on D. I finger the 2 keys at the same time for TC. Note that if you 100% truly can't TC even if you think you got the fingering correct, it could be a mechanical hardware issue, and has to do with the wiring of your keyboard which confuses/prevents you from pressing many keys that are coincidentally on the same wiring as each other.

It’s a muscle memory thing. You’ll get it sometime, don’t worry I do recommend using a sh*tty keyboard until you get it right tho. Worked for me
Prob try to change thw keyboard,for example whit my laptop its to difficult for me i do 2/10 (whit some luck) and whit my desk pc i can do easy 9/10 done
